Love it! We already had a reciprocating saw, but figured it wasn't up for our current project. This saw has features I wasn't aware of, prior to purchase. ..It's really convenient not having to use a tool to adjust the blade. The LED work light is a big plus.

I had a rigid one hander that's 5 amps (I think) but it wouldn't do a thing for me. Don't even know why I bought it it... Anyway, it ticked me off one day something fierce, so I ran to sears for this guy because of the power/price ratio. Other brands with this power and style are at least 25% more money. I used it to cut a hole in a storage shed connected to my house for ventilation. This went through vinyl siding, the original asbestos siding underneath it, and the studs (not load bearing of course) like butter. Blasted out a square foot hole in minutes. I used this a while later to remove a wall I put up around an inoperable fireplace. I bought the blade pack that included the wood and nail/metal blade. I had the studs attached to the joist with brackets. This things blasted through the stud, the bracket, and everything in between. I had the four walls around the fireplace down in no time at all. I'm a DIYer so the money for the high end saws alls aren't worth it to me. This did more than I thought it would.

I got this saw to do little jobs around the house, I have used it to cut down some trees, took down a wall to move it over three feet.Last week we all went to my mather in law's house so we could take down her roof and put up a new one,all my brothers in law work in construction they all have big name saws, well let me tell you they were all amazed at how good my saw worked if you ask me I think my saw did just as good if not better then theres.I LOVE MY SAWSAW

I shopped around extensively for a reciprocating saw and decided this was the best buy for the money. It has good power, quick blade change and comes with a carrying case. The reason I preferred this model over the Craftsman Professional was the lighter weight. It is almost 4 pounds lighter. If your not using this saw daily for demolition, it should be more than enough and you will have the advantage of the lighter weight. I also recommend the Craftsman blades. These types of saws are great for cutting branches the the blade set includes a pruning blade.

Easy blade change. But I would recommend buying more blades the one that it comes with doesn't last to long. Other then that its a good saw for the price and has worked on everything I've used it on.

I bought this saw to do some bathroom romodelling and have only begun to test it, but so far it has cut smoothly through drywall and was easy to handle so I cut straight lines. I've cut through metal and hardwood as well with no problems. I need to cut out some iron inside an old tractor rim, which will really test this tool, but I haven't gotten to that job yet. Overall, I am pleased that I made a great purchase (even got this on sale) for a tool that does what it is supposed to do.
