Surprisingly powerful for only 12 volts and batteries seem to hold up well. Drill and light are great, sander is okay, but saw is a little to small. guesss that is what you get with only 12 volts.

I got the Craftsman Nextec combo set (Drill, Saw, Sander, Light, charger + 2 batteries) last summer and have used them extensively for projects all over the house from repairing two window sills to building craft boxes for gifts for family and friends. Due to light weight I can work for hours and the tools fit my hands...small woman's hands...although I have to use two hands to activate the saw (safety button with one hand and power button with the other). I love that the batteries last fairly long, but when I need more time, recharging is quick. I LOVE these tools.

I love all the Nextec tools for their size and power. The lighter weight are perfect for the smaller jobs that I attempt. The tools are powerful and with the Nextec Burst charger, I can always have a continuous stream of power available to complete a project.

I bought this kit twice in the last two years. Frist one was the battery and the second one was the drill. I didn't use it every day and it still went out on me. I would just buy the better line of Craftsman tool. When the frist one went bad one me, I sent it back and bought the newer one. I'm just dissapointed in this line of the Craftsman tools. I did some looking online and I guess this is an issue with theses power tools. I would still buy Craftsman and I did buy the C3 kit.

I went in to my sears to purchase a 12 volt nextec drill on sale for $49.95. My independent owner told me of this clearance item for $79.00. 4 tools, 2 batteries,charger and case. I felt that I would never use the flashlight or the orbital corner sander. I was wrong! I have used those 2, the drill and the mini circular saw with complete satisfaction. Sears needs more small stores like the one in Belen NM!

I have been interrested in buying the tool set ever since I saw and used my sons set. The saw is awsome. I was able to cut through a plywood sheet almost as well as I would have with a full size power saw. Powerful and long lasting batterys with ability to recharge quickly. What more could you ask for? The drill and light also have proven their ability to stand up to the task. I have not used the sander yet but I am sure it will also work as well as the other tools in the Nextec series of tools.

After shoulder, wrist, elbow injuries, I can't handle my big tools anymore. This does a great job. I would use these first, even if I could still handle my bigger, more powerful tools! They charge fast too, but with all the batteries, who cares?!
