Easy starts, quick cuts. Very easy to control. I have owned several brands of chainsaws over the years. This is the best by far. I would recommend this saw to anyone who needs a light to medium duty chainsaw.

This is an okay chainsaw not as good as the old ones does not have the power as the old ones still cut strong and for the money you can't beat it I would recommend it to a friend

I bought this saw on clearance and out of the box it didn't run right. After I got it back from Sears service it runs good.( non adjustable air screws on carb. Thank the EPA.) I bought the saw to use occasionally, and should work fine for that. I'll break out the big Stihls to do the heavy lifting. Don't care for the on/off & choke controls- I hope they don't break. I don't like the simpul (spring loaded starting rope) I'll get used to it.

A nice chainsaw for the money. I used it for 2 days straight without any problems. It made nice quick clean cuts. I cut a 20" dia. tree (w/18" bar) without much difficulty. With regular maintenance this saw should last a long time. Love my new saw.

I picked up this saw about 3 years ago and have used the heck out of it. I cut about 4 cords a year and it has worked very well. But let's face it, this is NOT a professional saw and anyone expecting it work like one is unrealistic. But if you do a couple of things it cuts very well and is quite reliable. 1. Keep a sharp chain on it. For whatever reason the chain this saw uses dulls pretty quick. I personally keep 3 chains and have a sharpener. 2. Keep your bar oil topped off. If you run out you toast your chain and bar. 3. Keep the roller tip lubed. 4. Clean the air cleaner- it collects a lot of junk where it sits. 5. Optional- go to a 16" bar and chain. The saw is better suited, power wise, for the 16" setup. I felt the 18" bar was pretty flimsey. So basically there aren't any real earth shattering suggestions here- JUST MAINTAIN YOUR SAW. It will cut very well for the average homeowner for a long time.

I was a little hesatent to buy this saw due to price with all the extras. To my relief when I got it home and filled with gas and oil, 3 pulls and it was running. The auto hi idle to warm saw was great. Other than the length of cut, it is almost as good as my 20 McCloughic, I would recomed this saw to any one looking for a home use saw. It passes all my expectations. I would recommend it to any of my friends, just hope it lasts.
