Overall
A tool to keep for "just in case"

Adjustable wrenches are not usually the first choice when planning to work on anything mechanical.  They have a habit of slipping off fasteners if you are not very careful with how you use them.  But they are extremely valuable when you encounter fasteners for which you do not have the exact wrendh size.  Nowhere is this more common than in dealing with larger fasteners (generally greater than one inch in size).  This adjustable will give you the ability to deal with those larger fasteners without having to clean out your bank account to buy the full set of sized wrenches.  Very handy to have in your tool box.

Can you really turn small fasteners with this large of a wrench?  Well, yes, the adjustment on the jaw is very precise.  You could adjust down to very small sizes.  I think you would do better to switch to a smaller adjustable if you are going to need to turn those smaller fasteners, this one is large enough that slipping off those smaller fasteners would be a problem.

Overall
it does small jobs too

Great wrench. I use this thing more than I thought I was going to. It's suprisingly light in weight for it's size which makes it easy to use. However I don't see Sears having to replace this one for breakage any time soon.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
