I needed a 1/4" shallow well socket, but ended purchasing this instead because it was a much better deal and included both standard and metric sockets. The sockets grip well and are very sturdy.

I caught my set on sale. How can you go wrong when you get 18 Craftsman sockets for $21 ? My sockets are not Easy Read etched, just standard etch like the rest of my sockets so I'm OK with it. I read the reviews where people are disappointed that they were not Easy Read sockets so if that's important to you, beware. Sears seems to have fixed the wording on the website because I didn't see Easy Read mentioned but, the picture still shows Easy Read. The label on the package also says they are Easy Read. The sockets in my pack were not. I'm still happy with them

Bought this set since the picture on-line shows Easy Read. Like other people here, that's not the case. Now I would normally chalk this up to the web people not knowing the product and relying on other people to provide the correct descriptions and related product pictures, but not the case. When I received the item, the packaging clearly states "easy read" and of course, the sockets were not "easy read". Is this a production problem? Packaging problem? Labeling problem? Either way, not good for purchasers of this item.

VERY disappointed when I recieved these socket sets and they were not easy to read sockets as shown in the on-line picture. Sears was great at mail/catalog sales in 1970-80s, too bad their web site is so bad. Worried about them going out of bussiness and no longer honoring the lifetime warranty.
