this is a great set to have around the house for those"honey do's" that come up. I have been buying Craftsman tools for over 50 years and have never been disappointed by the quality and I know Sears stands behind them if something should happen.

i found that when tring to get in an area that was easly accessed by a standard socket, i was unable to get it on the bolt. Also where is the stamp as to where it is made, and where is it made????

Overall, this set is a great value as a package if priced out separately. Quality of both the ratchet and sockets are top notch. My only complaint is this set actually shorts you a socket for both standard and metric. Most standard and metric 1/4" drive sets are 10 pieces but not this one. You would be short a 14mm and 9/16" socket in this set. I guess one other thing, the packaging implies that the set has built in holders. The socket holders are very weak in retain the sockets and would not stand up to much moving around in a tool box and fall out everywhere. So a socket rail or other organizer will be needed.

My wife and two sons bought this for me for Father's Day and when I inspected the sockets I found one that was machined improperly. We have not taken it back to the store yet but if it's like everything else at the Sears in Goldsboro it will be a hassle to exchange. Check all sockets when you buy them because this one has a razor sharp edge left on it. It's the 5mm in the set.
