-1 Star for taiwan. It seems like good steel and I didn't break it like I did with the Cheap chinese junk I used before I pulled this out. I didn't realize it wasn't USA until I got it home, I would have paid more...
It is missing 10mm 12mm and some other size I needed. The sizes missing are exactly what I needed to have. I love the design and how nicely they work on nearly stripped stuff. Given how little is done in the old imperial system I think they should replace sockets for 3 more metric ones or Sears should let me swap similar sized unused sockets because it is hard to get a proper set without going into a huge set.

Bought this set because I needed the 10mm socket for a stubborn transpan bolt. Worked great but I work on Imports which if anyone is familliar with, have generally the same size bolts heads, being 10, 12, 14, 15, 17 and 19. Of these sizes this kit only contains the 10, 14 and 17. If craftsman would swap the 13 for 12, the 16 for a 15 and the 18 for a 19, this would be a perfect little set to have around foreign cars. 13, 16, and 18 really arent that popular.

I would not RECOMMEND THIS FOR A MECHANIC SOCKETS JUST SUCKS I can tell you can't to much force on this if is for something where you don't need lots of pounds of force buy it because the RATCHET IS GREAT SMOOTH

I always like to support USA co. but these are made in China they are very thick walled and are hard to get on bolts. What has happened to the craftsman tools . All my tools are craftsman but if they insist on having them made in chine they will not be for long!
