Mostly good service
I have had my drill and light set at least five years. I bought a second battery soon after. The original battery lasted about 3 years. The last battery died yesterday after at least four and one half years. I have not had the early battery failure of many reviewers. However, the charge does not last long under heavy usage which is why I had two batteries. For most of my home chores with a drill and screw driver it has been more than adequate and charges have lasted several months. Before upgrading to lithium batteries plus charger, I would probably buy and new drill. Over all I have had a better experience than most reviewers with these batteries. I am buying another one today.

Utter waste of money

Horrible. 3 out of 3 failed within 10 cycles of use. When you have this many cells stacked up, cell reversal and subsequent pack failure are inevitable, but even I was surprised at how fast these went bad. Draining them all the way invites reversal, frequent charging causes memory and reduced capacity. You just can't win with these, so AVOID THEM. You're much better off with any of the lithium packs.

Five Years Between Batteries

I use this around the house for light duty repairs and the occasional job that requires two batteries to finish. I've had this set of batteries for five years and charge them at least once a month whether I use them or not. I think that it performs well for a NiCd battery and the price is reasonable compared to replacing them with Lithium. Just bought a couple more and hope for service to match the first set.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Replaced my old battery

The two batteries that came with my drills were no longer holding a charge. I decided to try a new battery instead of just getting a new drill. I am very glad I did. This new battery works with my old drills and charger. I think it works better than the originals.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good, but the Lithium are great.

I have owned over a dozen of these batteries over 10 plus years. These batteries are good, but for overall battery output and life the Lithium are better. This battery is half the price. So it depends on what you need. Economy vs. Output.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good life for a Ni-Cad

Heavier than lithium, but fine for small-medium jobs and much less expensive than standard or extra life lithium.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
