Save time and rid yourself of the frustration.
I bought this drill for work since I have to drill into brick and stucco quite often. It is extremely frustrating to do this without a hammer drill. I have had to wrap cable around customer's brick houses without this drill and by about the third or fourth hole the drill bit doesn't want to bite anymore even when you're leaning all your weight into it. The hammer drill doesn't have a problem and the best part is that I was able to write the drill off in this years taxes and I have the 19.2 volt combo set at home so it's just another great tool to have in my collection. I bought the 3 year warranty too. If the drill lasts that long I would feel that I got my moneys worth.

Very good drill
I like the drill just fine. The overall quality appears to be good and feels like a good quality tool. I am not overly excited about the life of the batteries though. I have found them to fall short on the ability to hold a good charge. When I am using it during the charged time, No complaints...

One of the Most Versitile Portable Drills Available!

I have owned two of these since they became available originally. Living in a concrete block home in Florida, the versitility of being able to switch from screw driving, to drilling to hammer drilling is fantastic. Normally doing functions that would take at least two separate drills, with the speed adapter, and the large range of torque settings, there's little that this drill cannot do. The only two drawbacks to this drill are that the rubberized grip wears down quickly, and the chuck, after a year's or so use, begins to surface rust. However, these do not affect the function at all, and are only cosmetic.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

19.2-Volt Cordless Drill

The 19.2-volts are plenty to do most of your hammer drill or regular drilling needs. Much better than the 18-volt drill.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

19.2V hammer drill

I bought this because my last drill (Craftsman 75th aniv. set) would not tighten/ loosen the chuck without holding on to both ends of the chuck and I am in the middle of building my solar tracker framework. This drill is performing awesome an I am drilling a number of 1/2" holes, Only wish I could find another bigger size Lith-battery because the one that I bought the day before (The XCP) is ok, love the charge level light, but think this battery needs to be twice the capacity to get half way through the jobs that I am currently doing.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
