The 19.2-volt Impact Driver Kit Provides Power in the Palm of Your Hand
A welcome addition to any toolbox, the Craftsman C3 Cordless Driver Kit boasts a powerful 19.2-volt variable power speed motor that allows for 0-2500 RPM. Lightweight at only 3.4 pounds and easy to grip thanks to its molded handle, this driver tackles any construction job with efficiency and precision. With an impacting mechanism that produces 1,500 in. lbs. of torque and 0-3500 IPM, screws and bolts go in to most materials with ease without damaging the heads.
Craftsman's 19.2-volt impact driver kit comes complete with a metal hex coupler to quickly change out bits. The robust motor gives this tool the power to do most drilling and driving applications, in either forward or reverse mode (thanks to a convenient flip switch). Powerful and practical, the impact driver comes with an LED light that activates whenever the trigger is pulled, making jobs in even the dimmest conditions manageable. With so much force and versatility in one device, it may be the only tool you need.

The drill was usually my Go-To tool for putting in screws. Not anymore. The impact feature means you strip less screws, if any at all. So far I haven't found a screw it could not drive.
The latest tools available with a replaceable battery that fits a whole stable of power tools. When I get a new tool I can get a bare tool or a battery/tool combo. Batteries are available at Sears no special ordering an expensive single use battery. The Lithium battery/charger options give you the latest power batteries at your local Sears store. I no longer have to buy another tool because the batteries cost more than a new tool.
I have barrowed one of these several times while building my new home, but hadn't purchased one. After finally getting into the new house I decided it was a must have tool to add to my other cordless drills, tools, etc.
I bought this item for my husband for christmas... he is a professional drywall installer. He tried this item out and is VERY pleased with it! He said that Craftsman tools have always gotten the job done! He is using thus for home projects.
I have a few of these from dewalt and makita so when I got this as a gift I was kinda doubting it. Overall though it's not bad. It has a few things though you should know. One is that the light mounted on the base is a dumb idea. It's easily blocked when your using it and not nearly strong enough to be of any real use. It would have been better to mount it on the end of the impact near the chuck. Two they use in ad battery's wich is ok but kinda older technology however for the price it seems about what you'd expect. The fit and finish seems decent but not impressive. It's of decent weight so if using for a long time your arm will get tired. One nice thing about the nicad battery's is that they are a lot cheaper to buy. The charging time is pretty good to. When I looked at my local sears they had I believe two battery options based on how many amps you wanted. To sum it up it's an alright tool but for a little more money you can get a lot more from other brands. I would recommend this for either beginners or someone who's not going to use it much otherwise I'd have to say step up to a better quality one.
