This thing is freaking awesome, felt weird at the beginning but after a couple of minutes you'll get it. Mine came w/2 batteries. Out of the box charge will last like 15 mins, after fully charged... WOW! My previous trimmer (RIP Gasoline Weedwacker 358.795543) was very powerful, this little gnome is not as powerful, but is adequate and believe me, is quite powerful this little buddy, feather light and like my previous gas trimmer, just twist it and viol?, you have an edger, something Craftsman is missing from their newer gas line up. I'm very, very happy and satisfied.

This product is very well made, everything that craftsman makes I have been very satisfied with. Sears is also a great place to shop, the sales people are always friendly and are a great help.
The trimmer line is not long enough I must get very close to the grass to do any good. The battery life is great much better than my last cordless trimmer. I must say my old B&D trimmer was much easier to use and did a better job but the battery did not last.
Great that it comes with a battery. Other products that have the battery as an option make buying them senseless even if you already have tools using batteries. You just add another tool that takes away from ones you already have. Would not have bought it if it did not come with the battery as many other tools I pass up.
The gas weed eater I just got rid of was perfectly balanced which made it easy to trim the whole yard. The craftsman is a little front end heavy which makes the forearms do a good bit more work. However I need the exercise and love the cordless, electric weed eater. The battery lasts long enough to do at least a 1/4 acre lot with trees and flower beds. Overall I like it, and once my forearms get built up, I'll love it. : )
