If your grass is made from tissue paper, you might like this trimmer
I live in the Seattle, WA area and purchased this trimmer. I thought "Great, now I won't have to drag my cord around!" Unfortunately, I'm not sure what grass they tested this model on, because my grass just look at this trimmer and laughed at it. In fact, my grass brought all of it's grass friends over for a party - all of whom knew there was nothing this trimmer could do about it! I suppose it you are cutting some small grass around bushes, this would do just fine. But if you're doing any serious edge trimmer around the boarder of a lawn and you need it to really cut a line in the dirt - this trimmer isn't going to do it for you. By an electric "plug in" trimmer!

Great for a small yard

This battery operated trimmer does a great job. I have a small to medium sized yard and the unit has plenty of battery life and power. It is light weight and a has plenty of power. Replaced a 4 year old Black and Decker and this blows my old one away.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Easy / Don't miss the 2 cycle noise

Works great for my corner lot. Battery lasts for my entire yard. No more 2 stroke gas and yanking the cord to try and start the old trimmer.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great trimmer for normal trimming

This trimmer will handle grass and small weeds with no problem. Plenty of power for normal trimming. I have a 1/2 acre lot and can get most of the trimming done on one charge. I have other C3 tools, so I have extra batteries if I need them.

craftsman 19.2 cordless trimmer

I really like the ease of use for this trimmer. Don't have to worry about gas and oil mix and it does a decent job on a medium size yard.It comes with lithium battery and charger which i was surprised by and was a very good price.Another piece of equipment to add to my 19.2 collection

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Battery will not hold a charge

It worked twice and then stopped functioning. I took it in to the store and they tested it with a new battery and it worked. A new battery costs almost as much as a whole new trimmer. No thanks!

Gets the job done...

With the lithium battery the power is sufficient. Works well for small jobs.....for bigger jobs, have another battery charging. Line that come with weed-eater is cheap.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Nice Trimmer especially compaered to gas ones !

Purchased instead of a gas trimmer. I figured save $ on gas. Plus I have tools with same battery pack so liked that & no cord compared to traditional electric trimmers so no hassel with cords. Assembly was a breeze even if you are an amatuer when comes to tools. Charged in less than 1 hour & went and trimmed front & back yard ! Battery still had juicy ! If wanted to last even longer I would pickup a Lithium 19.2 which I have 2 already. Overall great trimmer ! Trimmers adjustments are easy also & no need for tools to do ! The line adjust is easy also with a button & pull technology ! Only thing I haven't done is change line yet but will probably also be easy I imagine ! Great trimmer & won't regret buying ! Last it is a lot quieter than a gas trimmer so if have kids or animals it won't scare as bad or bother your neighbors !

Went Dead

I purchase this item a year and a half ago. It works fairly well but went dead and Sears was unable to remedy the problem. The line also goes fairly quickly. Perhaps mine was just bad luck, but I did not appreciate that the product stopped working so quickly.
