Nice mower
I bought this mower before the mowing season started, I did my comparisions with other brands and this was the one I bought. Still very happy even now that the mowing season is over. Here is a couple of things I really liked, The power, the electric start is very nice option, deck cleaning port plus its easy to change the height when needed.

JUNK - DO NOT BUY
I bought this mower 3/18/12. It has electric start and a pull rope but no primer bulb to prime it with fuel. The first couple of times I used the mower it performed fine, but if you let it sit for any period of time you will never get it to start. I've replaced the spark plug numerous times, had the carburetor cleaned, the carburetor replaced, and once again - it won't start. When I attempted to get the mower repaired under warranty I was told it was a fuel related problem and therefore wasn't covered. I use the fuel recommended by Craftsman and I always make sure to add stabilizer to the fuel. With no primer bulb it's just impossible to keep fuel flowing through the system and get the mower to start. I use the same fuel in my old Craftsman mower that has a primer bulb and pull start and it always starts on the 1st or 2nd pull. This mower is just a piece of junk. Unless you are a small engine mechanic and know how to clean/replace carburetors stay away from this mower. I looked on Consumer Reports and I'm pretty sure my next mower will be a Honda. They score nearly 20 points higher than Craftsman.

Poor Construction

My yard has hills. When I try to mow going up the hill, the platic gears in the drive wheels strip out. When I try to mow going across the slope, the back wheels break at the hub. The mower is too heavy for the cheap plastic wheels. There is a support under the deck that always comes loose and has to be beaten back into place. The electric start worked for 1 season. The bag clogs easily. The handle is uncomfortable. If your yard has any slope to it, do not buy this mower.

Do Not Buy This Mower

I've owned Craftsman mowers for 25+ years. All the others are still running. This mower is in again 3rd time in 25 months. Yes 25 months so this time no warranty. Very hard to use when running because of added battery weight. 3rd time in 25 months. It's had drive issues, starter issues and now I'm about 25 days past warranty and engine is flooding out. Only second time we used it after repair in late October but since past 90 days, it sat all winter, no warranty on last repair. Last Craftsman I buy.

Much Better Construction

I had my previous mower for 5 years and it was time to replace. I found this at the end of the season in wisconsin and got a great deal. What sold me is the construction of the rear wheels. They were flimsy on my previous model, but are quite solid on this one. Runs great, starts easy, a little more powerful.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
