Absolute failure. I am 160 pounds and curled both 12 pt and 6 pt sockets trying to take braces off running boards of a 2006 F-250. Where is this stuff made, and who runs the quality control? 10mm screws out of plastic?
I purchased these to have a good, large assortment to cover any project I may come accross. Only complaint I have is the hex wrench sets are just in a plastic bag, no way to really organize them. Other than that, the case that is included hold all of the sockets and wrenches in place perfectly. they have no room to move around once it is closed up and locked. The tools themselves are the usual awesome Craftsman quality with the lifetime warranty.
Craftsman tools are my husbands tools of choice because of the great price and guarantee! He uses tools everyday and refuses to pay the big price of some other manufacturers.

This set presents a good selection of all three drive sizes of sockets and ratchets, along with end-wrenches and a few other essential tools. I carry it in my truck for emergency repairs and it has not let me down. Consider adding things like various pliers, a utility knife, a small hammer and an oil filter wrench. There is room in the case for all that and more!

You can stop reading here folks. I did all the research over a few months and this particular set has the best combination of content to value of any tool set Craftsman offers. Very few "filler" tools compared to the rest. I'm amused at complaints posted about lack of sizes, etc. If you are planning on residing on the NASA space station, then sure, you are going to need a few more tools. Even in the real world back here, you will still need to add some tools as you go along. Pick up one of the catalogs that pro mechanics use to buy their tools off those trucks that travel around and you will be over the top excited about the value of this tool set, especially considering the life time warranty. At 61 years old, there have been very few times I have had to return a tool for failure and even when I had probably used the tool beyond it's expectations, Sears cheerfully replaced it. I first identified this as the very best tool set value that Sears sells and then watched for the best price to happen. When I saw it, I jumped on the net and ordered it. It arrived in a timely manner, had all the pieces and they were already in place in the chest. Tri fold case I got holds everything securely and the new latch design is great. Yes, you are eventually going to need to add some bigger sockets, etc. but just stop whining and go buy them. You will still have saved a great deal of money. It's the perfect size and weight. If "everything" you will ever need was included, you would not be able to carry it. Take the time to learn what it includes and either add to it or as you discover some sockets or wrenches you need over an above, then go get them and store them separately. Sears sells some very good socket organizers that will compliment what you have and appropriate size, ball bearing drawer tool boxes to accomadate them. Watch for prices and get a 23 piece screwdriver set and may a 10 piece set of pliers or a 20 + set of nut drivers. You will wind up with an amazing set of life time tools that perform very, very well. The trifold case I got is perfect. Well constructed and improved latches. I might have had second thoughts if I had read far enough to see the made in China disclosure. Come on Sears....I would have paid a few dollars more to see the good old Made in USA stamp everywhere, however, Sears must have been heavily involved in the quality control process. I received good quality, cleaned up tools in a case that securely held everything well. Of all the Craftsmen sets, you will not regret buying this one for either yourself or even a relative or friend. I have to give it 5 whole stars, all things considered. Picked up at North East mall in Hurst Tx. Walked in an scanned my receipt and realized I had left my truck running. Walked out to turn if off and the man met me at the truck with it wisely suggesting that I put inside the cab of my supercrew 150 instead of the bed where it would have been stolen.
