Great little mower!
Everything you would expect in a quality Craftsman. Very smooth operation, turning radius is excellent, keeps cutting even in tall grass, and comfortable stable ride.

Ehhh! Blah.
The mower is a little slow especially in reverse. Uneven terrain causes the deck to torque which leaves mower stripes. Turning around trees is nice but if the ground around the tree is not level... the machine tends to push in a strait line. Quite a bit louder than other mowers on the market. Single cylinder engine causes a lot of vibration. Good on gas use. Can't say this is worth the money. I'd look into other brands.

VERY HAPPY -- SO FAR!

Hubby LOVES the "Turn Tight" -- the advertised 6 inches is fairly accurate. We've only had it for a week but he really likes the way it cuts and especially how it turns. We do hope it lasts longer than our last Craftsman riding mower, which was 7 years, and we treated it gently. With as much as these costs, they shoud run forever. LOL!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman 19hp mower

My only regret is that I didn't purchase this earlier! This is my first riding lawn mower and I couldn't be happier. And, it's a quality Craftsman!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman T2200 42" Hydro riding mower

This mower is very easy to mow with because of the automatic transmission and tight turning radius. The engine starts quickly and vibration is low. Oil change is quick and easy because of the drain valve on the engine and a hose to direct the used oil into a pan or bottle. I looked at many brands of riding mowers in this price range and the Craftsman T2200 seemed to be my best choice.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

LOVE MY MOWER

I am so glad I spent the extra money and bought this mower. I love all the features, where you can cut going backwards.. it also has a wonderful safety feature that if you get up from the mower while it is running the mower will cut off. you do have to be careful and not lean over because the mower thinks you are getting off of it and it will cut off. The easy cleaning is wonderful.,,, just hook your hose to the special peace they give you and TADA your mower blades are clean... Love my mower.. :).

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
its Okay

Does ok but it is under powered, vibrates like a jack hammer, and the "turn tight" is laughable.

So far, so good!

Two weeks ago, Sears delivered my new T2200 mower to my driveway, set it up, attached the bagger system, and gave me a tour all for $30! Excellent value. As for the mower itself....I have mowed my large residential lot twice. Understand that I'm not mowing down sapplings or bouncing across rocky creek bottoms. I'm mowing grass on a large level lot and, so far, this mower does that very well. The cut is every even. The 19hp engine has plenty of power. The turn tight turning radius is as good as advertised. The hydrostatic transmission works well. Love the mow in reverse option. The bagger system works pretty well. Although it is a little difficult to figure out when it's full. It's very easy to empty and replace the softside bags. I hope to provide an update at the end of the mowing season. That should give me a better perspective on its ong-term reliability. But for now.....I'm impressed and quite satisfied with my purchase.
