Ratings & Reviews
Lift heavy vehicles with the 2-1/2 Ton Floor Jack.
When it's time to crawl underneath your sports car, you need the Craftsman Low Profile Jack. This jack is specially designed for cars with a minimal ground clearance, so you can easily lift them without damaging the body. The jack sits at a starting height of 3-1/2 inches and will lift your car up to 14 inches off the ground, high enough so you can work on your car in comfort .
The 2-1/2 Ton Floor Jack holds up to 5,000 pounds and lifts easily with the pump handle. It can be difficult to perform routine maintenance on cars with low ground clearance, but this jack will give you more options. After lifting the vehicle, place support stands underneath to keep it secure while you tune it up. Once you're finished, turn the release valve to bring your car safely back down to the ground.

The jack works perfectly as advertised, fit right under the ground effects of my Grand Am GT. As a mechanic years ago I recommend Craftsman tools, more than half the price of Snap On tools and I think it is the same quality
I'm satisfied with this jack, overall. It easily lifts my 2001 Eldorado (front end) while performing my front end alignment. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the round bracket piece that contacts the surface where the jack meets the car, is not connected and can fall off easily if the jack is being carried with one hand. The quality of the rest of this jack is reasonable considering that this is only a low end jack. Bottom line: It's nice looking and it does the job of lifting weights consistent with it's rating. I'd recommend this unit to friends and family for a "low-end" floor jack.
I have a 1999 grand prix gtp and this jack clears the bottom of the car with no problem. The jack is somewhat slow to pump up but that does not bother me because the jack is very sturdy.
compact, lightweight, and works like a charm. I've purchased, owned and used craftsman hand tools for 40 plus years both personally and professionally. I've staked my life and my livelihood on them and will continue to do so.
That low profile lift worked great on my BMW with sport package. it lifts easily, just take care that the lifting cup is not attached to the lift so it might get stuck and forgotten under your car.
