Lift heavy vehicles with the 2-1/2 Ton Floor Jack.
When it's time to crawl underneath your sports car, you need the Craftsman Low Profile Jack. This jack is specially designed for cars with a minimal ground clearance, so you can easily lift them without damaging the body. The jack sits at a starting height of 3-1/2 inches and will lift your car up to 14 inches off the ground, high enough so you can work on your car in comfort .
The 2-1/2 Ton Floor Jack holds up to 5,000 pounds and lifts easily with the pump handle. It can be difficult to perform routine maintenance on cars with low ground clearance, but this jack will give you more options. After lifting the vehicle, place support stands underneath to keep it secure while you tune it up. Once you're finished, turn the release valve to bring your car safely back down to the ground.

This did the job! I always trust Craftsman tools. The jack is improved a bit from former models, so of course it works flawlessly. I have a Honda minivan and a four door Tacoma. This thing did a heck of a job lifting these vehicles with ease. I strongly recommend this jack.
I bought my first Craftsman low profile jack in March 2013. About 3-4 months after using, the jack started to slowly lower when having the car on it for more than just a minute. After a short while, the jack completely stopped working, would not raise the car. So in less than 5 months, this jack FAILED! I replaced it with a brand new one, same kind. The 2nd one started leaking hydraulic fluid out only about 4 months after use! Now the jack does not work at all! So again in less than 5 months, the 2nd brand new jack FAILED! 2 BRAND NEW JACKS IN LESS THAN 1 YEARS AND BOTH OF THEM FAILED MISSERABLY. I've used numerous jacks in my time, I used to be a mechanic at a couple of dealerships and am a home mechanic. I've never seen such a poor excuse for a jack ever. This is not worth the money. All of my friends use jacks from **************, namely the Pittsburgh Automotive ones. They are not only cheaper, but they work and last 10x better and longer. I will NEVER buy a Craftsman jack again. And Sears is another nightmare to deal with when these jacks fail. All in all a horrible experience and big waste of time and money.

Returned the 1st one I purchased... leaked/lost pressure the 1st time I used it. They replaced and the 2nd one seemed to be ok- BUT after only using 4 or 5 times now this one leaks. Jacked car up to do oil change- went in to eat lunch and jack was 3" lower. Thank God I put jack stands under rails. Cant only imagine if I was under the car and this think just lost pressure more rapidly with no jack stands. Should have known better when the sales person said, "yea... there have been quite a few returns on the jacks". Amazing
The 2 1/2 ton floor jack will be a birthday present for my son. It is a quality Sears Craftsman item, and I know he'll be able to use it for years to come. Ordering from Sears.com was simple, and Sears even upgraded to 2-day delivery. Very pleased with this product.
I would say that this particular product looks to be a pretty good one. Especially at the price point I paid it stacks up pretty well against the more expensive floor jacks I've seen and the less expensive as well.

We bought this jack because my husband does repairs on our vehicles, one is a 2 ton pickup truck. We believe this jack will have the quality to stand the test of time. Our fathers and grand fathers were owners of craftsman tools and we are too.
Compact in size, fits in a trunk of a car if needed to use instead of the junk scissor jacks that most cars come with. Only drawback is the handle could be a little longer.
