These wrenches are sweet! A 12" adjustable is a must have, and for a few bucks more you get a 10"! The quality of these wrenches are awesome. Heavy duty and they will not let you down, unlike the cheap junk that you find at the home improvement stores. I am glad that Craftsman has stayed true to their reputation of quality over all these years. I hope that people realize that spending that few extra bucks, and it's not that much more, you get a far superior product made in the USA, ready to go to work for decades. I would say to everyone to stock up on Craftsman hand tools since Craftsman is the last American quality affordable tool that provides a lot of value to the average joe.

These wrenches feel substantial in my hands. They work great and I hope I get many years out of them. I love the lifetime warranty too. That is the reason I purchased Craftsman. However, even if they last as long as my last wrench (40 years), I'll be happy!!

I don't know what ol' Mr. Negative 1 star Donut is talking about, but I use mine quite often, at least a couple times a week. I don't know why someone would be using them daily all day long, I think anyone that says that is full of BS. Buy a combination wrench people. All I can say is that the quality in these adjustable wrenches is superb. Like most people that have bought cheaper ones in the past, we all hate the sloppiness in the adjustable jaw, you always have to readjust the dang wrench every time you take it off the nut or bolt. With these Craftsman wrenches that is completely a thing of the past. (My other adjusted wrenches have went into the "old crappy tools" toolbox.) There is no slop, or wobbling jaws. It took me so long to buy these because of the price, but now I see that they are well worth it. Plus I got them on sale and with some rewards points, paid like 12 bucks! Made in USA, too! You won't be disappointed.

Craftsman adjustable wrenches are my standard for comparing other affordable brands of adjustable wrenches. First the Craftsman adjustable wrenches are still forged in the USA with a nice tough finish. Next the Craftsman design differences from the lesser imported brands are easily noticed just by using the tool or the adjustment screw to open the wrench. The imported versions I checked out had loose or sloppy adjustment mechanisms that did not hold adjustment with repeated use. Some had larger handles/heads probably to compensate for low quality materials. Buy the Craftsman adjustable wrenches for best results for the build and the warranty.

There are 3 things besides the quality of the metal that make an adjustable wrench great. (1) The wobble of the lower jaw. Both of these had almost none, I have seen some that had an 1/8" or more. (2) that the upper and lower jaw are parallel to each other, these both had no gap, many cheep-o's will round off nuts and bolts because of this. (3) The material thickness of the thumb-wheel . These are a third or more thicker then the cheep-o's and will hold the jaws in place under heaver loads, But remember they won't replace a six point wrench or socket. They are just like my 20 year old ones. I Highly Recommend.

I purchased the Craftsman 2 piece adjustable wrench set once I realized that I needed another 12 inch wrench to finish the installation for a whole house water filter. The Craftsman adjustable wrenches are still made in the USA. They do not slip or need tightening over and over again as you are working. It was cheaper to buy the set instead of just a 12 inch Craftsman adjustable wrench. These are made to last; very sturdy and work as you would expect. The Craftsman adjustable wrenches are a must have for the toolbox. This set would make a great gift idea!
