This little pair of screwdriver's has been such a help to me both at home and at work! At home I use these little gems when I am working on one of my guns or installing a new thermostat. At work I use them to lock and unlock blades in our servers and in my voice switch. Despite their miniscule size, they are still every bit Craftsman and 100% made in the US!

You never know when you're going to need one of these smaller "precision" type screwdrivers. They're great to have around for this reason. You don't want to be using a larger that needed tool. That's when you run into stripping the heads on fasteners.

These screwdrivers remind me of the kids story "The Little Engine That Could". I do not use these on a regular basis, but when I have tiny screws that need to be removed, these are what I reach for. Due to their smallish size, damaging the tips on these can be a problem. Not well suited for high torque use. However, they are covered by a lifetime warranty. Overall, I like these. Just do not use them in the wrong situation. If the job needs a bigger screwdriver, use one. Use them as intended for small jobs and they will not disappoint you.

Nearly every one of the many Craftsman screwdriver sets I own include the flat-blade and phillips "mini-screwdrivers". I find them very handy for many tasks around the house/garage and use them often. Recently, one of my flat-blade screwdrivers failed under normal use - the shank broke loose inside the clear plastic handle. No problem, it's covered by the life-time Craftsman hand tool warranty, right? Not necessarily ... When I took it to my local Sears tool store, I was told it could not be directly replaced under warranty because Sears does not sell that small screwdriver individually anymore. Since, the smallest "set" Sears now sells that includes that specific tool is the 2-piece mini-screwdriver set (for only $3.99), I was told I'd "have to come back with the phillips mini-screwdriver also" so the 2-pc set could be replaced under warranty. The warranty does not say that - I checked. I expect better warranty service than that from Sears and will demand it next time!
