I've been using both of the ratchets profesionaly for over 15 years. They are the best combination of ratchets to have in your toolbox. The short one is great for high speed removal of nuts or bolts that are not highly torqued. The high polish also keeps your hands from being abrated when using it all day!with it's pivot, you can also use it as a high speed spinner when you flip up the handle up 90 deg.
The long ratchet allows you to loosen high torque nuts and bolts with low effort. Again, the high polish protect your hands from abrasion when using it all day. This is a super comfortable all day use ratchet!
I found both of the ratchets to be of super high quality. I have bought these as gifts for my family and every one raves about how good they are. I would suggest these to anyone needing to upgrade their ratchets

Everyone should have this set of ratchets. It's the two most common drive sizes. The ratchets have a quick-release button that will lock on sockets. And the thumb switch for changing directions is easy to use (versus the knob type that typically requires another hand). The square-ish handle isn't the most comfortable but if you work gloves it doesn't matter.
