The first use required I put the sockets on with a mallet since the springs were too stiff or they were not sized correctly.

I bought my first Craftsman socket rails more than 30 years ago. I've found none better for the price.

These are the best alternative to constantly trying to locate the socket you need that is always the"last one" that you pick out. They are the least expensive of the organizational options for sockets that I was looking for,and store nicely away.

I would not recommend these. Some of the clips are too big and you can't get the sockets on them. Others are too loose and the sockets fall off. Sharp edges on the parts make it easy to cut yourself while trying to put the sockets on or off.

These are great to use if you need to organize your tool box. You can take the whole drive size out to where you are working which is nice so you don't have to run back and forth to the box. Also you can switch out different sized clips to use on the same rail. This is handy for things like torx bits or if you use certain sizes over and over. I will agree with everyone that its a major pain in the rear to get the sockets on. After you get them on for the first time, its really easy to take them on and off after that in my opinion. These DO carry the lifetime warrenty on them which is nice if you bend these to where they don't work. Last thing with these, they are cheap for the amount of sockets you can put on them. Look at other things out there and you can get more sockets on these then most other organizers. BTW, don't by knock off no name ones. I got some from HF and sockets have always fell off.
