Been using these for years and I simply cannot live without them! Oh, how many times have I taken a set of sockets under the car just so I know I'll have the right one when I get there?!? Ever try doing that with loose sockets? When I'm done, they go right back up on the wall to be ready the next time!
Bought the 309 piece craftsman set. I still think these are best the way to organize sockets. Buy online and pick up at store. Sears has made it so easy and efficient. Plus online price can not be beat.
Works as advertised and you can organize sockets. Much better price than other big box stores and convenient that you get two, one for standard and the other for metric.
This product just does what it's supposed to do... keeps your sockets organized so you don't have to go searching for the right size. Convenient package of two... use one for standard sizes and the other for metric.
I think I should have gone with the plastic ones, despite being more into metal products. Hooking each socket into each connector can be frustrating, but once they're in there it does clean the toolbox up nicely.
The socket rack keeps your sockets neat and tidy. When your looking for the right size you can find it fast because you don't have to search through a bunch of sockets. You keep them in order
Easy to make sure you take the right socket with you under a car. Helps let me know at a glance when one of my guys didn't put one back. Clips don't move smoothly and have sharp edges.
These are the most reasonably prices socket holders Sears sells. ***** sells similar ones, but they are more expensive than Sears, particularly if you can get them on sale. I've had a set for over 20 years, and bought these for my son's new tool set. I don't use them everyday, but they do the job well for occasoinal use. I'm able to fit 1/4" deep and short, and 3/8" & 1/2" short racks of sockets standing up in the drawers of my portable tool box. It makes for a nice compact way of holding many sockets. Many of the more expensive holders take up more room. The handles make it easy to carry them around while you are working on something. It doesn't get 5 stars because sometimes the sockets are a little hard to slip on/off, and over time some of the holders get to where they don't hold the sockets well. But you can always buy more of the slip on holders should you need them. If I had it to do over again, I'd get this set.

The metal socket clips don't move smoothly back and forth on the metal rails. They take a little more time to put the sockets back. They don't keep the sockets in place 100% because the clips are not square drive lugs, and they're out of shape easliy. I think I will need to buy new metal clips from time to time. This means that the cost will be much more in the long run, compared to the plastic version. If I could go back, I would get the plastic socket racks with plastic studs.
