These are not the same quality I expect with the Craftsman label but they work okay. I added these to my tool set in my workshop and they fit well in one of the drawers in my tool chest. The small one is used when I change the oil on small engines with spin-on oil filters. I haven't tried using it on an 18 HP Onan. These old garden tractor engines have a blower housing that covers most of the oil filter body. It might work but I question if the strap might get cut on the blower housing.

This is the only tool I use to take my oil filter off on my large diesel truck. I have had this for at least 9 years and it has worked like a charm everytime I have used it.

I am a 74 yrs old housewife and I can not open jars or bottles. These Wrenchs are wonderful. Someone gave me one for my birthday and I love it. I can't live with out it. I am buying these as a gift for a friend that has the same trouble. You feel more independent .

My son-in-law bought me a set of these 7 years ago, I think they got tired of me calling to come open up or unscrew something. Ever since I got mine it's been like independence day. I've lost the small one somewhere along the line so now buying me a new set and the oldest her own set. Just used mine to take off a shower head. Grannys unite and get you a set and get your independence back also.

My Sons gave me the 2 pc. strap wrench set for fathers day over six years ago it sat in my tool box and never used it. This past weekend my son came over to change my oil in my truck. To my luck I couldn't find my oil wrench. I live 25 miles from the nearest store. Well my son ask me to find the strap wrench that him & his brother gave me for fathers day. Well it worked great to remove the oil filter in my truck if you ever changed a oil filter in a new cars or trucks there just no room to play with. I'll give the strap wrench all 5 stars, working great and not have to drive 50 miles round trip to buy a oil wrench. I Know now there is alot more uses for the strap wreach. Well its not at the bottom of my tool box any longer.

I've had these for about 12 or 13 years now. Maybe the newer ones are not a durable as the ones I have, not sure, they look the same. I use them for removing oil filters, kind of a pain in tight spots but they work good. I have also used the larger one to remove clutch fans on V-6 and V-8 engines. Their not designed for that but most of the time they work for it. The one time it really impressed me, I did not have a special tool to hold the harmonic balancer on a foreign car so I tried the large strap wrench, it did the job of holding while the fastener was removed with an impact. I thought for sure it would break. Did gouge the handle up bad though.

These wrenches of both size isn't strong enough. When I try to turn, the strap gets extended. So it never loosen something tight. I bought this set for loosening the oil filter of mostly european cars. I didn't want to damage or scratche on the cap of oli filter. Because the strap is made of rubber I believed it worked as I thought. But it doesn't. This concept and idea is really great. It works in the kichen when you open a jar of sauce or something. But this set is not a tool for auto mechanics.

Bought this wrench to remove a pulley from a transverse mounted engine in tight quarters. In order to make use of it, I wrapped electrical tape around the handle, forming a channel to keep the strap in place. If not for the fact that this set of two was only $12 I would be dissatisfied. I'm not a professional mechanic so it met my need but if it's quality you seek, keep shopping.

There is no jar or bottle that I can not open thanks to the strap wrenches. I suggest that you include this item in your Housewares Department. Do not keep it hidden in the Tools Department. I am 76 years old and my hands just are not as strong as they used to be and I live alone; therefore, it was essential that I find something that would make it possible for me to open all those tightly closed jars and bottles. Your strap wrenches was an answer to an old lady's prayers. I have yet to meet a bottle or a jar that I can ot open. Thank You!
