Not really meant for oceangoing ship engines or locamotives, but for many farm/automotive uses these are perfect. Very useful and they operate flawlessly, and teeth changes are a breeze.

Having tried some of the newer "2-in-1" convertible pliers and being disappointed sorely with them, I ended up trying a pair of these. Not only are they much less expensive than the 'professional' line, but they exceed them in quality and function. These are quality built, feel very solid and strong (despite being slim and easier to use in tight spots) and I wouldn't doubt they could stand up to just as much if not more abuse than the larger, bulkier professional line with convertible internal / external function(s). Definitely give these puppies a try and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. This is -the- pair of snap ring pliers to have in your set of tools. Don't pass them up.
