      Mighty Mouse
I purchased the jack the other day with the intentions of using it periodically during oil changes and tire rotations (I'd love a nice floor jack, but can't afford it at the moment [ie my wife says I can't buy one right now]). I had originally wanted a 4-ton model, but for some reason Sears is discontinuing it and, thus, the store did not have any. This 2-ton model is plenty for my needs right now and the price was right so I got it. When I got it out of its box I was amazed at how tiny it was. I thought there was no way it could lift 2-tons. I stuck it under the frame of my Nissan Frontier Desert Runner and sure enough it picked it up without a fuss. It didn't pick it up much, though, because it's so small, and the frame of the truck is pretty high off the ground (it would have no problem on a car). However, two short pieces of 2x6 under the base gave it more than enough height to pick the tire up off the ground. It's a small price to pay for something as portable and useful as it is. It is as at home in the garage as it is the trunk of a car.

Worked great, but RUSTS away in no time!
I bought this jack at a local store a few years ago and I used it a few times on my Civic. It clearly has more lifting ability than I need for my small car. It does have a small diameter contact area which is a problem. The main issue is that the metal is highly sensitive to water! I had it in the bottom of my trunk for some time with a bit of standing water in there. There was significant rust but it had not seized and I cleaned it up, dried it up. Put it in a zip lock bag on my shelf because I no longer trusted it (and I found my OEM car jack). A while later, maybe a year, I come back and dig it out while doing some spring cleaning and it's RUSTED again! this time it is seized. Rust everywhere. Think titanic after 20 years or so. The bottom of my trunk? No rust. The metal in this jack does not resist rust (no Zinc, etc). I would not recommend it in any sort of region where it rains at all.

      Too Small

If you are using this for a full size truck it is too small. I'm going to have to return this item. I read other reviews that said it would lift an SUV, but i'm not sure what SUV they were talking about. Overall, its too small for a truck. Maybe a lowered or mini truck???

Satisfied Customer. Just today I used it and liked it.

I used this Jack under my Chevy Truck and had no problems whatsoever. It is a "little mighty" Jack. Easy to use, easy to carry and it does not take very much space behind the rear seat. I honestly would recommend it to anybody with the same need as mine. See, my new to me truck didn't come with any jack and this Craftsman Hyd. Jack saved my day.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Not suitable for any cars or SUVs .......

I tried to lift the car to change the tire, but this jack could not able to lift enough to pull the tire. This jack height is not enough to lift a car.

Works but has few major limiations

Got this 2 tons jack with some free point. It's compact and much easy to use than than OEM scissor jack, but with some limitation. First the minimum height of the jack is 7.25", Some small cars' jack point is lower than that, Also the jack max out around 13.6", that's also lower than the OEM scissor jack. so check if that will work with your car. Second, The Jackpoint on the top and the base is kind of small, any kind of movement to the car, that might tip off if anything shack. I won't use that alone to support a car for tire rotations or oil change. For $10, it's a ok item. but doesn't really work too well.

      Great little jack

Excellent little bottle jack and even got it on sale for $10.99! Works great and feels very solid. I've only used it a couple of times so can't comment on longevity but so far so good!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
