I find that this size is just right for a small shop like mine. It is compact, being upright it does not take up much room and it is easy to move around. I give it 5 stars

Air Compressor
A nice compressor for the money. I ordered it online. The brass quick connect piece was broken when I received it so I had to go to ***** and buy a new one for three bucks then remove the broken one. The compressor seems to be working well one the once I changed the broken part out. I am a upset over the inconvenience of fixing it but I still like the compressor. I am sure Sears would replace the broken part but who wants to got through the inconvenience of calling them and having them send out a new part.

not having to check the oil before each use is good. not having to have 220 volts is good.

oil free motor is loud

I opened the compressor and mounted the wheels. Everything was packed well and unbroken. I flipped on the switch and the oil free motor came to life. It was much louder than I expected it to be. Loud enough that I had to leave the garage while the tank pumped to capacity. Works great for my needs. If I had to use it a lot in the workshop, I would consider another model or make.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great compressor for the money

I just picked this up at my local Sears store and have only used it once. Seems to be well made and will just the right size to put out of the way in the corner. This is a second compressor I own and I bought it for a new woodshop so I could leave the other one in the garage. This should do just fine running the air nailers and blowing sawdust.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

HUGE help

I was looking for a compressor that would last, and I had several contractors recommend one that was at least 20 gal. They never mentioned that I should get a craftsman, but when I was looking online this happened to be one of the first ones I noticed. I cross referenced the CFM with all the other larger and smaller tanks for craftsman. And as far as "air pressure to tank size ratio", this one is definitely the best. I've used smaller tanks before and they run out of air REALLY fast. This thing just keeps going and going...It's easy to maintain and great for everything from cleaning out the shop to big jobs like doing a lot of heavy nailing. Only thing I would recommend would be to get a legit rubber hose along with it. If you have it delivered to your door they'll include a plastic one, but it leaks a little. The wheels are a big help with this as well, they go on real quick and make it easy to move around as long as you have a smooth surface/floor in your shop.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Took it back and told them to throw it away for me

Bought this to some work around the house after third time of airing up car tires it stopped running.  Charged me $100 to fix the compressor pump.  Worked when I got it home.  Three months later plugged it in and nothing.  Sears wanted another $100 told them to throw it away.
