Ok quality, now made in China. The quality is acceptable, at least better than the cheap brands. Time will tell how strong it is. Lifetime warranty makes it a good value.
I got this with my rewards points and it was a great deal. It's perfect for the hard to reach bolts. A lot safer than putting a bunch of little extensions together.
The strength of the extension is excellent as other extensions that I was attempthing to use for the project were flexing which would not allow the bolts to break loose.
I purchased this 20 inch, 1/2" drive extension on sale & for the money it seems decent. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I've used a friend's before & it held up to use with a breaker bar & pipe... These carry the lifetime warranty, so don't be gentle!
The Craftsman 20 in. Extension Bar, 1/2 in. Drive works great if your in spot that you can not reached such as bolt low in engine compartment. Very hand and built to last for many years.
I ordered this as the last extension I needed to have all the extensions Craftsman makes. What I got was a low quality, Made in Taiwan tool. All my other Craftsman extensions feel nice - they sit properly on the ratchet, they hold sockets securely, and most importantly they're Made in America. With this extension, it feels like I've taken 4 short extensions and put them together to use them. It's absolutely terrible. The ONLY good thing I can say about it is that the chrome finish looks nice. This piece of garbage is going back to the store first thing in the morning. If you need some extensions, do yourself a favor and go to ************** - you'll pay $6 more, but you'll get a set of four. They're probably even made in the same factory... *Disclaimer: This review was written under the Sears Product Review Points Offer. A reward may have been provided in return for a review. I think everyone should have 5 to 10 extension per drive size and these longer ones come in handy. It works better than stacking multiple extensions together.
