20" Hedge Trimmer
Having an 18" over the years, I thought that this would be impossible to maneuver. Not true at all. Unit is fine. Has the 4 amp power. Cuts easily. Wished it was a bit quieter though. Previously over the years, I always wore ear plugs. Now, I will still need too.

Works Well... It's Average
I've used far more expensive units and they tend to be quieter and have stronger torque capabilities, but this is average... it works just fine. It's surprisingly loud, though. Also, I'm not sure if the manual suggests this, but I'd put some bar/chain oil on the metal before the first use. I started mine up and it made some initial metal scrape/squeal sounds (just for a couple seconds). That stopped, but I rubbed on some oil real quick and it operated much quieter. It cuts through pretty much any branch that fits in the slats and that's what it's supposed to do, right? It doesn't weigh any more or less than what I'm used to. Handle is sturdy enough. It's an average unit. I recommend it.

One shortcoming

Works very well, except the lock-off button is much too difficult to operate while wearing work gloves.

Works like it should

This is the first pair of hedge trimmers that I have owned. I've used a big ol' Stihl gas powered model and the standard B&D 12" unit. The first one was a beast and pretty much overkill. The second one was pretty small. This Craftsman unit works well so far. I've only given it a try on some shrubs and trees in the front yard. It works smoothly and the longer blade length makes getting an even cut a tad easier. It does generate a bit of noise though. It is not quiet at all. I wore earplugs, but I tend to be cautious in that regard. My neighbor commented that he could hear me using them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Just what I was looking for.

I am not physically able to do my bushes anymore, so I had to get a new trimmer for my brother-in-law to use and they were perfect! I am always satisfied with Craftsman and that's why I go to Sear's first, when I need things like the trimmer. Thanks Sear's!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Does the job

Does the job, we'll see how long it lasts... it scares me that craftsman products no longer have long warranty tied to the name. Now it's only 2 years which seems pretty pathetic.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
