Just what I was looking for.
I am not physically able to do my bushes anymore, so I had to get a new trimmer for my brother-in-law to use and they were perfect! I am always satisfied with Craftsman and that's why I go to Sear's first, when I need things like the trimmer. Thanks Sear's!

Works Well... It's Average
I've used far more expensive units and they tend to be quieter and have stronger torque capabilities, but this is average... it works just fine. It's surprisingly loud, though. Also, I'm not sure if the manual suggests this, but I'd put some bar/chain oil on the metal before the first use. I started mine up and it made some initial metal scrape/squeal sounds (just for a couple seconds). That stopped, but I rubbed on some oil real quick and it operated much quieter. It cuts through pretty much any branch that fits in the slats and that's what it's supposed to do, right? It doesn't weigh any more or less than what I'm used to. Handle is sturdy enough. It's an average unit. I recommend it.

Great for the money

It can feel a little awkward/heavy due to the length of the trimmer, but it's great fom wide bushes and tall shrubs.

Good hedge trimmer

Trimmer worked well straight out of the box. Trimmed my hedge in about 30 minutes with no issues. The trimmer is a bit noisy, which is why the slightly lower rating.

Very Good Hedge Trimmer

We were in the market for a trimmer as we need to trim various bushes around our yard. After reading reviews for various trimmers, this trimmer seemed to meet our needs at a very reasonable price. This trimmer has performed extremely well for our needs and we got it at a very good price (on sale) so we are very happy with this purchase.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Trimmer that easy on your Body

Trimmer is light & easy to use. Built for the tough jobs and is light & easy on your back & arms. Only draw back it AC & needs an electric cord. But Sears had cords on sells that week so it was easy on your pocket book!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

great trimmer

My last sears/craftsman trimmer lasted about 15 years. It actually still works but was getting tired. This new one has a larger cutting area, cuts larger sticks, and has much more power. The only downside is that, because it cuts larger pieces, the power cord will also fit into the blade more easily so greater care is needed to keep that out of the way. But it made short work of trimming my hedges--down to an hour from what used to be more than 2. Great tool!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
