My husband was pleased and impressed with the selection of drill bits included in this set. He was equally pleased with the case in which the set is stored in. I was pleased with the price, and the honesty of the salesman who helped with the purchase of the tools we purchased. The salesman pointed out that I did not need to purchase a cordless screwdriver, because the drill we purchased (also a Craftsman product) double as a drill and a driver. What a great guy saving me money on the screwdriver which I in turn purchased another tool!

Craftsman 21 pc. Black Oxide Point Drill Bit Set was purchase dwith my new Craftsman 10 inch drill press. I got to use the set this week while building a home made custom clutch wrench for a projec tthat I was working on. I marked my holes and setup the fence on my drill press and clamped down my 1" x 6" x 3/16" metal strap & turned on my laser and my marks matched the laser and I proeceed to start drilling with a 1/4" drill bit. The bit cut clean and quick. I removed the clamped work piece and used my stop block to drill my second mark and repeated the previous steps. I threaded my holes and installed my home made pins and inserted my home made tool into the clutch slots and they were a perfect fit. The holes were centered and clean and the correct size. I used a few other sizes on some wooden wheels that I was making and thses bits cut the wood just as clean as they cut the metal on my other project. I have some wooden tractor trailors that I am making and will be using these bits on my upcomming projects. from what I have used these bits so far, I have not had an issue with them and they are cutting quit well on the tiems that I have used them on. Nice little set of drill bits for the price.

These drill bits ruin every project they touch. They wander so far that there's a slanted trench leading up to the mispositioned hole. The usual solution is to start with a small pilot hole but the notched blade on these bits chatters in it, creating a very dirty triangular hole.
