My son bought me this tractor and I hated to tell him it was awful. The deck level adjustment was so hard I couldn't move it. That gas driven transmission, We tried strapping a piece of wood to extend it since I am 5'4". So it takes hours to mow the lawn and having to hold the pedal down hard gives you cramps. Since when do you have to press the gas to mow at the same speed. I used to be able to relax and mow this thing is a lot of hard work. Full speed is still slower than my old Craftsman. When I leaned in the seat to press harder on the gas the safety switch cut the engine off. You can't mow in reverse (That is a stupid new safety law I guess) So you are constantly engaging and disengaging the blades. plus if it is for a lawn why shouldn't mulching be standard. I checked out the other Craftsman mowers and so far they all look pretty much like they were designed by the same man for men only.

Working great. Started off immediately. Having trouble with it working on the lowest cut level. Belt may have stretched and that is a hassle to change. All is well otherwise. Getting the hang of handling it.

This is a great garden tractor, It gives me full control of the speed and height of my cuts and at a comfortable pace. I only wish I had purchased a tractor like this years ago. So far it has not given me any problems and the engine runs like a well oiled clock, I love it.
