The old blade torn the grass and was nicked and worn. The new 3 in 1 Craftsman blade is sharp and makes a nice clean cut. It also mulches the grass into tiny pieces. Wonderful.

It was an exact replacement, just as dull as the one came on the mower. It's a shame the first thing you have to do when buy a new mower or blade is take it out to have it sharpened.
