      Started on very fist pull
My last Craftsman mower lasted for years until I bent the shaft. I decided to just get a new one rather than pay a lot of money to get an old mower working again. This new mower was easy to "assemble" out of the box - just unscrew, pull handles all the way out and screw again. Adding oil was a bit annoying - awkward location for filler. Use a funnel. But, honestly, how often do people actually change the oil in a mower. :-) I filled up the gas tank, then gave it one relatively gentle pull after priming. It started right up and chopped up some overgrown stuff leaving no visible debris.

      Think before buying
This product is not "Senior user-friendly". A major disadvantage is the placement of the oil fill tube. It is located behind the muffler under the blower housing, in the engine block and above the mower deck. The oil full tube cap and dipstick are difficult to remove with very limited "finger" space. I would not recommend this mower for seniors and/or others who have problems stooping/bending over.

The worst lawn mower I ever had

My family has used Craftsman for years. I bought this lawnmower in late 2012 and only used it about five times. Took it in for repair because if would not start. I paid the Sears store in Waxahachie $50 to look at it. They cleaned out the carburetor and I got one more use. I then threw it away. Very disappointing.

      STARTED ON FIRST PULL

MY NEW LAWN MOWER WAS REASONABLY PRICED. IT HAS LOTS OF VERY GOOD TIME SAVING FEATURES. IT IS VERY EASY TO START AND RUNS VERY SMOOTHLY. I PURCHASED THIS LAWN MOWER FOR MY DAUGHTER. I AM SURE THAT SHE WILL ENJOY MOWING HER LAWN WITH IT.

      Great mower

Had a Craftsman for years and the undercarriage is wearing out. Had to replace with a new Craftsman. Wouldn't own anything else.

Engine is a little small and low powered. Great High Rear Wheels.

I plan to use this lawn mower as a spare unit, or for a quick light clean-up around the edges and mulch beds. The 140 cc engine is a little small and under powered for use a primary lawn mower. Do not expect it to cut down a long shaggy yard. The high rear wheels make it an excellent choice to steer around curving mulch beds, trees, and along the perimeter of my yard features. The optional rear bag is good for these quick clean up trimming events, and is easy to remove to empty or set aside for use without the bag being attached. I will change the blade to a mulcher blade for my use, the factory blade does not circulate the clippings under the mower to chop them up fine enough to leave on the yard. The factory blade is totally fine, if you are going to always use the rear bag with the mower.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

New Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower

We got a pretty good deal on a 5hp mower and have already used it twice, even though it's still winter. We have had pretty good luck with these mowers lasting more than five years, so have continued to purchase them from Sears. That's what it's all about, reliability and being able to find what you want and purchase it immediately.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

21" Rear Bag Push Lawn Mower

It does everything I was wanting a lawn mower to do. It has the big wheels on the back which makes it easier to push. I love the grass bag catcher. I found this lawn mower on line thru Kmart and Sears web site. The sales clerk was able to get it at price that I found on line which was 20.00 cheaper than the in store price, which was awesome! It is a Craft man lawn mower, so I expect it to last a long time. I would recommend this lawn mower to anyone that has a uneven yard. We have 3 levels which has a retaining walls between the levels. With this lawn mower we can mower all 3 levels easily.

Easy starting and easy to use.

This well built medium sized gas mower is easy to start and use. It is lightweight enough to be easy to push and the rear bag is easy to take off and put on. At this price point I feel it is a good value for small lawns and light duty applications.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
