Started on very fist pull
My last Craftsman mower lasted for years until I bent the shaft. I decided to just get a new one rather than pay a lot of money to get an old mower working again. This new mower was easy to "assemble" out of the box - just unscrew, pull handles all the way out and screw again. Adding oil was a bit annoying - awkward location for filler. Use a funnel. But, honestly, how often do people actually change the oil in a mower. :-) I filled up the gas tank, then gave it one relatively gentle pull after priming. It started right up and chopped up some overgrown stuff leaving no visible debris.

Think before buying
This product is not "Senior user-friendly". A major disadvantage is the placement of the oil fill tube. It is located behind the muffler under the blower housing, in the engine block and above the mower deck. The oil full tube cap and dipstick are difficult to remove with very limited "finger" space. I would not recommend this mower for seniors and/or others who have problems stooping/bending over.

Worthless

As stated, oil is in the worst possible location and difficult to get cap off. I've had the mower about 6 weeks and it cuts out after starting. Needs to be restarted several times (with it cutting out after a minute or two) before it will keep running. Runs rough with some missing and backfire until truly warmed up. Would not recommend it to anyone. Wished it would have started this during the 30 day return window. It would have gone back.

Very satisfied

Purchased this mower last season and I am very pleased with its performance. For the price, it can't be beat. The speed is perfect for me, a senior lady. Only one time did it not start at the first pull but started the second. It mulches well in my very thick grass on # 4 setting. At the end of last season, I changed the oil without a hitch. I would recommend to anyone that doesn't want variable speed or a lot of bells and whistles.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

GGGRRREEEAAATTTTT!!

I love this mower. It is super easy to swap from bagger, to chute, to mulch. I bought it on sale and it made it such a great value compared to other mowers at other retailers with the same engine and features. Plus you earn points. Good buy and it started on the first pull. It is also super easy to adjust the height.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Easy to Use

I have never owned a lawnmower and very rarely used on in the past. This mower only required a few steps to adjust the handle in order to use it but it was basically ready out of the box. So far it has started right up each time and done fabulous job on my lawn.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great mower for a great price!

This mower comes with the bag, big wheels (which help with our uneven yard), and a wonderful price tag. I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. He cannot stop talking about how easy it was to push and how happy he is to have a new lawn mower. We highly recommend.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
