Ratings & Reviews
Use this broom for heavy duty sweeping on concrete floors, driveways, garages and construction sites. Use for wet or dry jobs. Stiff polypropylene bristles are designed to withstand the harshest sweeping environments, including oil solvents, detergents, and most chemicals. A thick hardwood block, strong fiberglass handle, and metal support brace make this a broom that will last for years.

Overall, others give this:
A great durable product. Very easy to assemble, and the finished product is durable with fiberglass handle and metal braces providind additional support to the broom itself
I really needed a good push broom to sweep out the garage and my workshop. The picture at Sears shows it with a yellow handle but mine was red when I got it. It did require some assembly. In my opinion I think Sears should have put the Craftsman name on a Libman Model 823 Heavy Duty Push Broom. However, these brooms should do the job I am using them to do. The Libman brooms have a stronger brace on them.
If you need an indoor shop or outside garage broom, this will do the job. It has metal bracing ( you will need to attach it yourself) that makes the head to pole connection very sturdy. The bristles grab and push the any refuse along without a struggle. I would highly recommend this broom.
I work at a sawmill and we buy almost exclusively Craftsman hand tools. This broom is indeed heavy duty and we have used them for cleaning up around the mill for years. We also use them for sweeping out truck bodies between deliveries of different products. Good product at a competitive price with a lifetime warranty!

I was confused for a while that mine was red and the pics were of yellow, but it is the same product...checked all the numbers. Heavy duty!
Bought this broom over 10 years ago it lasted like a champ! Wet, dry it just plain worked. It only broke when I was beating it against an old car trying to get the wife's dang chickens out from under it. Sadly now I need a new one, but will buy nothing but this broom again!!!
