This mallet sure beats the heck out of prying loose a pitman arm when it doesn't want to budge! Perfect for loosening the front end parts of an old Firebird and we didn't mar or break anything! Thanks Crafstman and Sears, you saved me again!

This mallet is close to perfect. I picked it up the other day as I had a small patio project going. I was laying patio block near my back porch area and I used this tool to help me get the 16x16 inch patio pavers into place. This mallet worked perfectly, had 2 nice striking surfaces, a strong hickory handle which absorbed the shock nicely, and I noticed that I didn't have to swing near as hard as when using a rubber mallet. This tool helped me get my job done fast and with less effort. Job well done! And, of coarse it carries the legendary lifetime warranty too!

I have spent a lot of time searching for the perfect rubber mallet. I wanted a tool that was heavy enough to make a strong impact on the works-service without having to swing for the fence. I also felt it was important to have a strong wooden handle to absorb the shock of these strikes. I am happy to report that this mallet fills my needs perfectly! As a bonus I got a double face on the mallet which give me two different densities of striking performance. I am very happy with this tool and I think you will be too!
