I've always loved Craftsman tools, unfortunately many are now imported from China. This set is still US made or I would not have purchased. Are you listening Sears? Are you listening corporate America?

When I received my socket set I was more than a little disappointed. I only received 8 sockets of the 24 that came in the set. From reading another review, this seems like it may be a common problem. After taking them back to the local Sears store, and waiting another week, I received a new set. The 2nd set I received was a complete set. The sockets are very heavy duty as I expected from Craftsman. The packaging they came in was a few plastic bags that were riddled with holes. Wasn't a huge concern for me but, would have been nice if they came in some sort of plastic holder like they do in stores. The markings are also not as clear as they are shown in the pictures. Would have given 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact I had to order these twice to get the entire set.

I have had these sockets for probably about 7years and they have never broke on me like others have said they would. The ones that I use very often have worn out and gotten sloppy on nuts and bolts. Craftsman warranty! But my store does not always have everything in stock. I think they are a great price compaired to other impact sockets on the market and they last just as long, if not better than other impact sockets. I have seen other sockets break under the stresses that I have put my sockets through. I would rather a socket wear out than to fail during use and cause harm to myself. Excellent Tool!

Sears online quality is poor. Missing 8 sockets from 24 piece set. Torn open bag inside box, no packing in the box to stop sockets rattling around. Sears must have needed the 8 sockets for their store. Pain just to get this reivew to be accepted by Sears lousy online system!

Very heavy duty sockets, if I had purchased in the store it would have come in a holder or case. Ordered on line they come in hole filled plastic bags and loose in the box. The markings on the sockets are not nearly as clear as the ones pictured.
