The fact that this is a multiple grade kit is great. You can take a project from start to finish with just this package.

I bought the sander from Sears and I just love it. So naturally I buy the sandpaper for it. It is easy to put on and take off.

Using these on a multi tool is better than using a Palm Sander. You can really get into tight spots and they have a long life.

This was usefull, but if you will work more than normal you wil need to buy other kinds on sand paper.

My wife asked me to renovate the old dining room set in our home...finally! That old cream colored set with its pink seats has always made me want to find a bottle of Pepto! While it was a cheap buy from an estate sale and it is pretty comfortable, it is ugly! Well, she decided a nice satin black finish would be the order of the day and that sounded like a real winner to me! She also had some material, a floral print that still has some pink in it, that she wanted me to recover the seats with. Great! I took the first chair out to the garage and I pulled off the seat base and started to clean the chair up with some mild solvent that would remove the dirt and the the old wax that had been used on it for years. Once completed I determined I could give the thing a good sanding and then apply a coat of paint and go from there. I have a few sanders in my arsenal and so I grabbed my palm sander and a block and went after it. As I went along on the easy parts I started to wonder what I would do when I got to the parts that the palm sander couldn't get to and then I remembered the Craftsman 2.0 Amp Compact A/C Multi-Tool I have and headed to Sears for some sand paper. I have to say, I love tools that make the job not only easier, but fun as well! I loved this tool when I first bought it to cut siding on our house when we added the new deck and O loved it when we added new flooring upstairs and I needed to trim the brick mold around the doors and now, I'm loving it as a sander! Multi-tool indeed! The sand paper lasted the whole job and I still have that first piece loaded up on the tool ready to do more work! It stuck right on there and never moved and sure made short work of all the detail sanding around the chair back slats! Once again, I thank you Craftsman for coming through!

The Craftsman 24-pc NEXTEC Sandpaper Kit offers an excellent assortment of sandpaper for the Nextec multitool, and other manufacturers' multitools. Will work with Milwaukee, Bosch, Dremel, and others. Craftsman multitool accessories also tend to priced somewhat lower than other companies'.

I think multi-tools are one of the greatest tools to come out in decades. Normally I don't like tools that have multiple uses, believing instead that a tool designed to so many various tasks doesn't do any of them well. That isn't the case with Craftsman Multi-Tool. I think it excels at all of its intended uses including as a detail sander. I still own one of the old corded Craftsman Detail Sanders for the 80's which is the forerunner of this design. The multi-tool's sanding function is even better. I like to buy the Craftsman Sanding pads instead of some of the cheaper more generic brands on the market. I have found that the grit is more consistant between sheets and they tend to last longer. They can easily be cleaned with the Craftsman Sanding Belt Cleaning Stick for even longer wear. If you haven't tried these Craftsman brand pads, you should. A 24 piece pack containing 3 different grit pads for less than 10 bucks. What a deal!
