Dual-Stage Snowblower Makes Clearing Snow Quick and Easy
Put away your old snow shovel and start clearing your driveway and walkways with a Craftsman 24' Snowblower. This easy-to-handle 24 in. tool has a powerful 4-cycle, 208cc OHV engine that easily moves blows snow out of your way in less than half the time it takes to shovel out a driveway the old-fashioned way. The state-of-the-art design includes an easy push button electric starting switch that gets you started immediately, even in the most frigid temperatures-no tedious mixing of gas and oil.
The Dual-Stage Snowblower has an impressive 24 in. clearing width that gets the job done fast, even when you're clearing oversized driveways and large porches and decks. To remove packed snow, sludge and ice, engage the 12 in. serrated steel auger or 12 in. impeller to break up the masses and blow them out of your way. With 8 different speeds, 6 forward and 2 backward, you can easily adjust the thrower to clear light to heavy snowfall all over your property.
- Craftsman 24' Snowblower is equipped with an EZ rotation chute to quickly and easily direct icy deposits anywhere you aim.
- Extra long chute gives better aim and reduces snow blowing back on the operator.
- Large 13 in. x 4 in. X-Trac tires keep the tool steady for extra maneuverability and safety.
- Easy-grip handle is easy to operate while wearing gloves or mittens.
- Plow handles increase control and reduce pressure on legs and lower back.

This snow thrower works very well to clean out my double wide driveway. It churns through a large amount of deep snow in very little time and you can decide how far it throws it depending on how you position the chute. Very happy with my purchase! However, if you are going to have it delivered I suggest you check it out carefully on delivery. I could not be home when mine was delivered so I had a neighbor accept delivery. When I got home and checked it out it had a small dent with chipped off paint on the top corner of the auger housing. The top of the snow thrower was scraped in several places and the throttle and drive control handles were scraped so badly that the red rubber coating was completely scraped off the ends of both controls. The delivery paperwork said that if their was any damage you had to let them know within a certain amount of time in order to get a replacement. I didn't bother because we were expecting a storm within a couple days and I would need to use it.
It's still early in the season so we haven't really had a chance to use it. On the plus side after we put it all together, it fired up right away! Everything seems to work. Also on the plus side it most likely won't snow very much this year!

My MTD snow blower blower of 19 years has finally showed its age. No I have not given up on that old fellow yet. Will try to fix it next spring. In the meantime I have just purchased this snow blower. Looked in the manual and it is made by MTD for Sears. The engine is a Briggs and Stratton. What a fantastic machine, electric start 208 cc engine ( wish I knew the HP of this. The extra long discharge for snow is very nice. I was lucky enough to get this on sale for $599.99 with free financing for 2 years. In closing I have to mention that I looked at my receipt from 19 years ago and the price was exactly the same as this one. This is a fantastic price even at the new price.
My previous Craftsman Snow Blower gave me ten years of good service with no mechanical issues, only routine maintenance. So when the time came to retire it I knew Craftsman was the one to buy. We've only had a small amount of snow fall so far, and the new Snow Blower handled it well. It is very easy to handle, yet it is very capable of moving snow. The harsh upstate New York winter will be the big test when it gets here. We average 150 to 200 inches of snow every year, so a capable machine is a necessity of life. I believe I have one.
