Product Description

Dual-Stage Snow Thrower Makes Clearing Snow Quick and Easy

Put away your old snow shovel and start clearing your driveway and walkways with a Craftsman 24' Snow Thrower. This easy-to-handle 24 in. tool has a powerful 4-cycle, 208cc OHV engine that easily moves blows snow out of your way in less than half the time it takes to shovel out a driveway the old-fashioned way. The state-of-the-art design includes an easy push button electric starting switch that gets you started immediately, even in the most frigid temperatures-no tedious mixing of gas and oil.

The Dual-Stage Snow Throwerhas an impressive 24 in. clearing width that gets the job done fast, even when you're clearing oversized driveways and large porches and decks. To remove packed snow, sludge and ice, engage the 12 in. serrated steel auger or 12 in. impeller to break up the masses and blow them out of your way. With 8 different speeds, 6 forward and 2 backward, you can easily adjust the thrower to clear light to heavy snowfall all over your property.

  • Craftsman 24' Snow Thrower is equipped with an EZ rotation chute to quickly and easily direct icy deposits anywhere you aim.
  • Extra long chute gives better aim and reduces snow blowing back on the operator.
  • Large 13 in. x 4 in. X-Trac tires keep the tool steady for extra maneuverability and safety.
  • Easy-grip handle is easy to operate while wearing gloves or mittens.
  • Plow handles increase control and reduce pressure on legs and lower back.

Good Deal
I had my mind made up to buy another brand but an online review of this snow blower caught my attention. Unfortunately it was way out of my price range. However, on Black Friday, it was priced right. The set up was very easy and it started on the very first pull. I had to wait a couple of weeks for the first snow but it did a good job. We had 4" of heavy wet snow and it had no problem with the apron of the driveway where the snow plow had gone through. The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars is because the reverse speed is very slow, even the 2nd speed. Other than that, this machine performs exactly as advertised.

Can not get to run right
I bought the unit in September. Finally got snow to try it in December. Unit goes about 40 feet and turns off. Sent it off to repair and got it back and it still does the same thing. Unit has not done more than half a driveway yet. All they want to do is send out for another 3 weeks to try and repair. Do not buy unit before you need or they will not replace it if outside the first 30 days. All Sears wants to do is say that I should have bought extended warrenttee, even though it is covered by original. They never want to talk about how it has not worked from the time it got cold enough. Very poor product and will not stand behind it.

Best snow blower in this price range

Starts easily, with either electric start or pull rope. Clears snow easily, throws snow at a good distance, and easy to operate.

Great Machine

Great snowblower - started right up, plenty of power, good traction and you can direct the snow discharge from the handle.

Big Snow still Throw(s)

On occasion you'll come across a product that actually does what is advertise to do. This is one of those. We had very heavy snow recently, and lots of it. No problem, first pull start (I didn't need the electric start), and really pumped the snow out of the way. And, by the way, our local Sears hard lines manager was outstanding, we couldn't have asked for better customer service.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Snow Blower

No problems. Handled 7" wet snow with no clogs. Two foot snow plow snow pile on driveway was doable with multiple bites. Never bogged down or died.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Excellent product - recommended for purchase

I've only used this once otherwise I would rate it five stars. Here are my opinions: 1. Packaging: 4 stars. The machine was ruggedly packaged and was undamaged when I unpacked it. The wood used in the packing materials is very poorly machined so wear gloves or handle very carefully to avoid slivers. 2. Ease of assembly: 5 stars. The directions are clear and easy to follow. The put the machine together in a very short amount of time with no rework required to get it done right. 3. Starting: 5 stars. The machine starts easily without the electric start. The electric start works well. The controls for starting the machine are slightly obscured, but not difficult to work with. This is more of a nit which is why I didn't downgrade the rating. 4. Ease of use: 5 stars. I really like how all the operational controls are arranged. Everything is easily in reach and clearly labled. 5. Snow Blowing: 5 stars: after adjusting the skids the machine cleared my driveway very well.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Excellent Machine!!

I normally don't write reviews, but thought i would for once since they were real helpful in shopping for one. This one was easy to set up, started right up and just went through a foot of wet heavy snow with ease. I shopped for awhile for a two stage, this definately was the ********. Quality machine!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
