i have always liked craftsman tools because they where made in the usa but now they are not i tryed to take a broke ratchet back for a replacement they tryed to give me one made in china i said i wanted one made in the usa they said they did not have any i said i will never buy craftsmn again hope you all will not either always buy american tools

This set has basically everything you could possibly need tool wise, short of having a couple real screwdrivers and at least 1 universal joint. Fantastic set. The "toolbox" it comes in leaves something to be desired. the three pull out drawers are held in place with two plastic flaps. Picking it up will cause the weight to shift, and will send the drawers of sockets flying. I've dumped this set in my driveway twice in one week. Spend an extra $50 on a real toolbox, and some socket strips, otherwise you'll need a shop magnet on a string to find the tools you'll lose.

I own 3 of these great tools sets, they have nearly everything you need for offsite work maintenance! The tool box is pretty good, I have never had any problems with it for 1.5 years now. It is nice because you can pull out the drawers and use them where you need them instead of lugging the whole tool box around. It has plenty of storage in the top to add more tools in the top, I would buy several adjustable wrenches to add to this set. Can't beat American Made!

I agree with some of the complaints about the box but the drawers hold the sockets well for drawers and if your not happy with the box you can use the drawers in a larger tool box. Overall I've been very happy with the set. Especially the fact you can grab a drawer and take it to the car/truck and hold it in your hand and have all the sockets you need right there. Good set

Tools = 5 stars (as usual, tools are great)..... Tool Box = 0 Stars! I bought this tool set on sale for an extra set of tools to store in my trailer for off-road vehicle maintenance. I did not have high expectations for the tool box at time of purchase and indeed the plastic tool box is as expected totally worthless. The lid latches are plastic and if they pop open everything spills. This did not happen to me as I carried from the bottom. Instead, the plastic flaps that are to hold the drawers in popped open and two of the drawers fully loaded with sockets and wrenches popped out spilling across the driveway at night. Very bad design. Plus, with the molded design, there is no way to store any extra tools in the drawers. There is some volume on the top and on the side of one drawer. Poorly designed tool box.. it is not much more valuable than a blister pack. However, tools are GREAT!

This is a really nice set for almost everything you need and stored very well. As others have stated, check to see that you have everything in there as soon as you get home with it. I had 2 20mm sockets and no 21mm sockets. You might also want to but some universal sockets and more extensions.

I like the completeness of this set. The box is nice but could use a bit more extra storage room. The plastic design I could live without, however it is lightweight and durable, providing the top latches hold up. If they don't, then the box becomes useless. The tools themselves are great! This is an excellent price for what you get.
