Very good quality

I finally decided to break down and spend a little money on a good socket set, and this one fits the bill perfectly.  I've had so many of the cheap $10 sets that break that I had all kinds of pieces left over and never could find what I needed.  This set keeps it all in one place, and I doubt I'll ever need anything other than what it has in it.  Stick a set of screwdrivers in the top compartment and I'm good to go.  The case is a little flimsy, and I'll heed everyone's warning that it comes open easily and put a strap of some sort around it.  I love this set...

Nice Tool Set

I bought this set on sale. The tools are great. The set is very handy and all it needed was a screwdriver set to be complete. However, as has been noted, the tool box is another matter. On the way out to the garage, the doors opened and spilled the 1/2 and 3/8 tool drawers all over the ground. I like the idea of taking a set from the box to the vehicle I'm working on, but I don't like the tool box. The drawers and tools are great, the box is not. Craftsman, redesign the tool box and you'll have a winner.

Great Tools..Horrible Toolbox

I bought this toolbox set for my husband and the actual tools are great. He has to purchase high quality tools for his occupation and he is really strong. I have watched him snap wrench and things before. Anyway, the toolbox is a awful. It has plastic latches to hold in those heavy duty tools..stupid. When he moves it the front plastic latches always some open and he drops all of the tools..each and every one of them and it is rediculous. I feel so sorry for him and I hate it bought it for him. They need to get a more sturdy toolbox and replace this one.

The perfect set for someone learning mechanic.

<html> <body>

Out there, outside the Craftman world there are a few or nothing compared to the Craftman 258. Is a very versatile box that can be stored even in your car. having this set you don't need any tool besides the ones in the box if you work with the body of the car. You can do almost everything, you can mount a tv. rack, a fan. or even repair a toy for your son/daugther or take out a whole F150 lariat triton motor. Making your easyer and takin care of you back Craftman builded a perfect box for the randon ones who don't ever know what will happen to them the next day, The ones who like the make it yourself. I hardly reccomend add a few tools to your box like a hammer, a 1/2 Craftman Hamer/drill, a Craftman Multipurpose LCD screen voltage tester, a clamp, few clips, a Craftman torque wrench, a Knife craftman has a few blades (you know 1000 uses) an a saw(metal and wood). Now... what go wrong with the set? Well the plastic of the box inself is good but we the craftman fans want metal if the set go over 200 pc, the lock inself is weack and the featured chest can open anytime dropping all your tool in the floor. The solution, dont take the box for the upper handle take it for the sides. There are too much hex keys in this box an are individual keys not sets thats are easyer to handle and not to lost.
