WeedWacker Gas Trimmer Gets It Done Faster

The 2-Cycle Straight Shaft WeedWacker is dream yard equipment - it's quiet, easy to start, lightweight, powerful and big enough to get the job done faster so you can get back to enjoying your weekend.

With a gigantic 17-inch cutting swath, the WeedWacker gas trimmer makes quick work of routine trimming and annual clearing. The straight shaft lets you reach and cut farther, while making the WeedWacker more comfortable for taller users. It's gas-powered, so you're free to move, not tripping all over extension cords. An oversize guard provides advanced debris protection and helps ensure that you're whacking weeds rather than shins, while the dual-line bump-and-go head keeps you moving. A dream machine for your chores, bring home this Craftsman, and get the job done fast.

  • Cycle Straight Shaft WeedWacker is durable, lightweight and easy to use. It requires mixing gas and oil 40:1
  • Incredi-Pull starting system is engineered to reduce the starting effort. Use a slow, smooth pull instead of a strenuous yank
  • The 57 in. straight shaft extends the reach and makes the WeedWacker more comfortable for taller users
  • A dual line bump cutting head easily advances trimmer line. Just bump and go
  • The adjustable handle's ergonomic design is built for comfort
  • Cut weeds, not legs. A deluxe guard gives you advanced debris protection
  • The WeedWacker comes with a full two-year warranty and a limited 10-year warranty on the shaft

A Pleasant surprise

I'm not a great fan of anything Sears with a motor, but I wanted to try a straight shaft trimmer. I crossed my fingers & decided to give this one a try. It started on the fourth pull out of the box & has never taken more than three pulls when cold since.  It has always started on the first pull when hot. Power is sufficient for any normal use. I've had it about 4 months & am perfectly happy with it. My neighbor used it twice & bought one for himself. (Made me happy for that) I'm not sure when my curved shaft  Steihl will be used again.

Great Price

Light and with a powerful engine, the bump feature is much better than the string replacement and the line last much longer.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

25cc 2-Cycle straight shaft gas trimmer edger

worked really well over all but when trying to cut tall grass it would tangle up on the shaft and bog down the motor other than that great product!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

weedwacker

I was very pleasantly surprised at how easily this trimmer worked. nice and lite but got the job done very efficiently. the bump head worked to perfection as the trim line was at a constant working length

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Affordable line trimmer for smaller yards

This trimmer was bought to replace an aging electric trimmer. I wanted to free myself from the constraints of an electrical extension cord and thought a good investment would be a gas powered line trimmer. I have about 1/4 acre property. This trimmer is more than adequate for that. It is strong enough to chop down some pretty decent sized weeds besides being perfect for trimming and light edging of the lawn. I did have to return it for exchange as the engine would not idle properly and ran very roughly. The replacement seems to work perfectly. For this reason I am only giving 4 stars. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. A word about straight vs curved shaft trimmers: Straight shafts will allow you to reach under bushes much easier that curved shafts! They also supposedly last longer as the travel from motor to trimming head is in a straight line. So far I am quite happy with the replacement!

Great Little Weedeater

I bought this weedeater for my Husband ans well I was the one that ended up using it. It is very easy to use and it is light weight that was a plus. I really didn't want to use something that was real heavy. It wasn't to loud either just right for either a guy or girl.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Junk. Don't waste your money.

I purchased this item instead of the weed trimmer I wanted because it was out of stock and I needed one right away. I had only been using it for a minutes when I found that the string was bound up in the spool and wouldn't feed properly. I opened it up, rewound the string and continued the job. Within minutes the same thing happened again and five times after that within the hour that I used it. Along with that, the engine cut out on me several times for no good reason. Needless to say, I have returned this item and purchased the model I was looking for in the first place. One thing I will say is that Sears' Customer Service was great and did not give me any hassle when I went to return the trimmer. I now have the Hassle Free style trimmer with a 3-step start vs. the 7-step. Hopefully it will prove to be a better purchase than the first.
