Product Description

WeedWacker Gas Trimmer Gets It Done Faster

The 2-Cycle Straight Shaft WeedWacker is dream yard equipment - it's quiet, easy to start, lightweight, powerful and big enough to get the job done faster so you can get back to enjoying your weekend.

With a gigantic 17-inch cutting swath, the WeedWacker gas trimmer makes quick work of routine trimming and annual clearing. The straight shaft lets you reach and cut farther, while making the WeedWacker more comfortable for taller users. It's gas-powered, so you're free to move, not tripping all over extension cords. An oversize guard provides advanced debris protection and helps ensure that you're whacking weeds rather than shins, while the dual-line bump-and-go head keeps you moving. A dream machine for your chores, bring home this Craftsman, and get the job done fast.

  • Cycle Straight Shaft WeedWacker is durable, lightweight and easy to use. It requires mixing gas and oil 40:1
  • Incredi-Pull starting system is engineered to reduce the starting effort. Use a slow, smooth pull instead of a strenuous yank
  • The 57 in. straight shaft extends the reach and makes the WeedWacker more comfortable for taller users
  • A dual line bump cutting head easily advances trimmer line. Just bump and go
  • The adjustable handle's ergonomic design is built for comfort
  • Cut weeds, not legs. A deluxe guard gives you advanced debris protection
  • The WeedWacker comes with a full two-year warranty and a limited 10-year warranty on the shaft

A Pleasant surprise

I'm not a great fan of anything Sears with a motor, but I wanted to try a straight shaft trimmer. I crossed my fingers & decided to give this one a try. It started on the fourth pull out of the box & has never taken more than three pulls when cold since.  It has always started on the first pull when hot. Power is sufficient for any normal use. I've had it about 4 months & am perfectly happy with it. My neighbor used it twice & bought one for himself. (Made me happy for that) I'm not sure when my curved shaft  Steihl will be used again.

Nice machine

the first one I got from sears did not want to run so I returned it and got a new one (same machine) and this thing is a beast I'm cutting through blackberries and grass on the creek bank four feet high. I noticed that with this machine if the trimmer head Is cold it kicks up a fuss maybe the gearing or the grease they put in it but once its warmed up it is a awesome machine

Average

For a small yard and lite work this Weedwacker works fine! Would not suggest to buy if you have to do heavy duty since it is a 25CC and is intended for lite duty only. As far as starting up, very simple and easy to follow steps and will start right up.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great product

Got this for my son-in-law's birthday and it is a great product and a very good price. Would most definitely recommend and buy again for our own use if we ever need one. You can't beat Craftsman and they stand behind their products for warranty.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Junk - don't waste your money

Yes it's not an expensive model but why waste your money? Had mine for a year. Engine surges and stalls. Bogs down in normal grass. Now the pull cord mechanism is starting to fail. I used it for light duty grass trimming only, yard is under an acre. Very poor product.

Good For Average Homeowner

just bought and used today PROS: lightweight, shaft adjusts (at 5ft9in, I didn't have to hunch over), started in 5 pulls CONS: motor struggled to keep full throttle in weeds above 2 inches (lawn wasn't wet)

I would recommend this product to a friend.
