I purchased the two piece set and had issues with both pieces. This bottom unit works fine, the drawers function and lock properly. However, I was disappointed to find scratches in the paint, as well as some paint bubbles on the top. These are cosmetic issues, but glaring on the gloss black finish. Given that I would have to box it up and haul it back to the store, and then wait weeks for a replacement, I will probably just live with it. But this is disappointing given the cost. A basic quality control review should have caught the bad paint job.

This chest has the right amount of storage for me. I'not a serious DIY guy or construction, mostly needed tool storage for the multitudes of tools I've collected over the years. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the drawer action. They are sturdy and don't wobble, but I notice that you have to apply a significant amount of pressure to "pop" them into place so that the lid will close and lock. Honestly, I never completely shut them and they look like they are, so I don't really care, but I was a little bothered by it. I'm not in it everyday and have no need to lock it, so it will work out fine! Putting the casters and handle on were a breeze and the 4 drawers have a variety of depths for me to house my stuff!

I've wanted one of these for years. I received the upper tool chest for Christmas 2011 and decided to complete the set by buying the bottom. So far I've been satisfied with my purchase. It is well constructed, easy to move and fairly priced. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
