We Love this!

A few years ago we bought the 5 drawer basic ball bearing tool center for a great price. We soon filled that chest and needed just a little more room. This year we added this middle chest (on sale for an amazing price) and it rocks! It looks great and for the price it is an amazing deal.... No doubt our whole tool box looks like one of the $300+ chests! I wish I could add a picture for others to see! Great Deal....

2 Drawer Basic Middle Chest

A perfect storage solution.

I bought two of these on sale for $45.00 each. I put one on my work bench for the odds and ends that don't belong in my tool chest combo and the other on top of my gun safe. The ball bearing drawers and built in catch are features that make this an outstanding deal.

Compliments the top & bottom combo set.

Completes & compliments my tool chest combo. Apparently during shipping, the cabinet was slightly damaged. This one came with a cracked Craftsman logo. When I bought the top cabinet, it had a dent on one of the sliding drawers. Both not worthy of the hassle with returning, but still takes away from the pride of appearance & ownership! Overall, it filled my needs for storage & even with the damages, I'm satisfied with them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Best middle chest out there!

This is a great upgrade over the standard basic middle chest. It's really the same thing with the advantage of ball bearing drawers. And what im using it for the thicker steel doesnt make any difference and while internal locking would be nice its not a big deal. I actually had the standard basic middle chest and was looking to replace it with a ball bearing one but the only ones made didnt have the 2 big drawers just little ones. For just over a 1/3 of the price of the other ball bearing middle chest (on sale) and the drawer size i need, I'm more then satisfied with this chest.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Nice chest for the price.

I bought this cheap for only $48 vs. the regular price of $90 going thru Sears' online Midnight Madness promotion in addition to their sale price!! So, I really don't have too much to complain about in regards to value for price. Main thing to keep in mind is the finish isn't too durable and it won't take abuse. So I installed a drawer liner to keep the dings to a minimum because I'm storing heavy impact sockets and I plan on keeping it out of the rain, snow, exposure to salt, etc.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The Craftsman 2 Drawer Chest is a perfect addition!

I recently purchased the "Craftsman 2 Drawer Black Ball-bearing Middle Chest" as a compliment between my gray "Basic" 4-drawer rolling cabinet and matching 4-drawer top chest. It was clearance-priced in the 'scratch and dent' section of my local Sears store, as it had a minor dent on the top, so it was roughly 40% off the regular price. Took the drawers out, gave it a couple whacks with a rubber mallet, greased the casters, and now it's as good as new. I decided to buy this black chest with the ball bearing drawers to store my short and deep impact socket sets, as they are a bit heavier than other socket sets, and the black color just seemed to be a perfect match. Even fully loaded, the drawers still open with ease, and as an added benefit, they have a built-in 'catch' that secures the drawers closed, a feature absent on the "Basic" line of tool boxes. The inclusion of drawer liners would have been nice, but nothing a strip of rubber matting and a utility knife weren't able to fix. All-in-all, it's still a great product, at a reasonable price, and it seems to be built to last.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Good lightweight middle chest

Good lightweight middle chest with smooth-sliding ball-bearing drawers.  Be careful not to overload it as the drawers are only rated for 25 lbs.  Got mine as part of a 3-piece combo with 5-drawer top chest and 4-drawer roller cabinet of the same design.  Very reasonably priced.  I'm very satisifed and highly recommend it as a way of increasing tool storage for the home handyman who already as a 26-inch roller cabinet.  Pros should get a more heavy-duty chest.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
