Its does what you ask of it, keeps your tools secure and organized. The ball bearing design makes the drawers roll nice and easy. I picked it out especially for the value. I bought it on sale for half off and it preformed as well and feels as sturdy as toolboxes from specialty shops that cost over twice as much. The only problem I have stopping it from recieving five stars is the fact that I have to pull harder than I like to get the door to initially open, but this is a small gripe otherwise its a very good value.

Needed storage space for my tools and it does the job! The ball bearing design was the deciding factor for my purchase. I also got the top chest since the price was within budget. I'm happy! I do wish that Craftsman had used a heavier gauge sheet metal in the construction of this product, but I don't plan on abusing the tool chest, it was purchased for home use. And I think thats the intended market for this particular product.

Hubby loved it. For the price is a very steady and good craftman quality.

I had been keeping my tools in a box in my utility room, but it was just getting too full, so I started looking for something better. This one caught my eye and I waited for a good sale to pick one up. I got the matching top chest, too. This combination is great for a do-it-yourself kind of guy. It holds the kind of stuff I have (wrench sets, screwdriver sets, etc.) and the wheels are good. There are a couple things about this set that I don't really care for, but I can live with them. The drawers stick a little bit, and seem kind of flimsy. The finish gets dinged up pretty easily (just setting the top chest on the bottom chest put a scratch in my set), but my dad told me those scratches make it look cool, so no big deal, and the lock is kind of a pain in the butt. All in all, it was the perfect chest for me.

I had been eyeing this ball-bearing tool cabinet for a while. The ball-bearing line of Craftsman cabinets are the most expensive. As such, all the stand alone or even the combo cabinets are really expensive. I was lucky to get this one on sale for an incredible price. This specific line is listed 319 together with a small top cabinet, and usually costs 189 if you buy it separately. I bought mine, which is the bottom cabinet for 109. Interestingly, if you decide to buy the ball-bearing stand-alone cabinet, it will cost you around 270-340 regular and 200-299 on sale. So it is a no brainer that this ball-bearing bottom cabinet is a deal. I can tell you that there is a significant differenece between theses ball-bearing drawer vs. quite glide vs. regular. This one seems so much more well-built and sturdy. However, this one only has a 1 year warrantly, while allthe other stan-alone ball-bearing cabinets have 3 years warranty. It is possible that that there may be a quality difference between these. For installation you just need to screw in the wheel and you area done. The only thing was that I did not expect the lock to be a metal rod that you have to install every time you need to lock the cabinet.kind of a hassel, but not a big deal. Overall I am extremely happy with this product and if you are buying this for your garage, I think nothing can beat the price and quality. One thing to consider would be if you are a professional mechanic and will be using this product every day, you may need to look at the ball-bearing line that has the 3 year warranty.

Got this combo set on sale for $200. Perfect for the average home owner who needs space to store some tools. Drawers slide just fine for not being the upper end ball bearings. It's better than the low end models and is worth saving the money over the higher end models.

First off, I bought this as a combo with a 5 Drw Top chest for a great price. This is definitely made for the average home owner/weekend warrior looking for a place to put all the tools you use. I bought this combo because it had the ball bearings on the drawers, it came with locks and casters. Very easy to setup. I highly recommend you buy the drawer liners (flat ones, not the "roll"). I bought this over the Kobalt from *****. The Kobalt was more money and equal to or less quality.

Not the best and certainly not the worst. If you can't afford Mac and Snap-on tool chests this is what to get. Waste of money to get the Craftsman drawer liners though, most home stores carry the same stuff for half the price.

We have had this tool chest for some time and it really holds up well. The ball bearing draws are very smooth to open.
