Do not buy this product. I bought mine in May 2014, used it all spring, summer and fall. Drained the gas, stored it in the garage all winter, got it out today and the entire inside was rusted out and it won't start. All I keep hearing is I have to "take it in". I don't have time for that. I expect my products to work as directed, especially after only ten months. I will just pitch this piece of trash and buy another, non-Craftsman one. Very disappointed.
I have owned two of these B&S Craftsman pressure washers. I have one in the shed right now that is going to metal recycler. Using ethanol gas in this voids the warranty yet this is the only gas available on the market. Ethanol gas will kill the carb on this unit in one season use. Same for the tiller. I bought a brand new $700 tiller and even though I drained the gas at the end of the summer, it would not run the next year. All Craftsman power machines are designed to run only on non-ethanol fuel. Pump quit working after first year. Also, the pump seals develop leaks and you end up with water spraying everywhere except from the hose. Because manufacturers are designing these to fail on ethanol fuel, you are better off purchasing an electric pressure washer. Gas pressure washers are a waste of money for most home owners. The electric pressure washers will do the job and last for years.
We cleaned our deck and siding with this power washer and it did a nice job. It took years of age off the decks and made the siding look new too. The only thing is this little machine goes through the gas.
We used this on our 1600 sq ft. home and it worked perfectly. It got all the dirt and grime off the house and driveway. Recommendation is to get the extended hose for the roof.
After only 3 uses the washer would not start. After paying $50 to have it checked, the repair company said that there was water and debris in the carburetor and it would not be covered under the warranty. The water and debris are considered maintenance issues. They wanted $140 to fix it so I had them send it back without repair. I will look for a new washer, hopefully with better quality.

used it once, hard to start but ran well & did job well. Stored over winter, drained gas & water. Couldn't start in spring, brought it to a Briggs & Stratton dealership- they wouldn't honor the warranty, first said it had 'stale gas' (but wouldn't start with new gas either) then said I had to use pure gas with no ethanol (where do you get that nowadays?) so it cost me $150. Took it home, started it with difficulty, then pump body burst and water sprayed everywhere. Sears said it wasn't their fault so wouldn't cover repair, would have cost me another couple of hundred $, the total repairs cost more than I paid for it. After being a 2nd generation Sears Craftsman guy, I won't buy another Sears product. I'm done.
