more cleaning power than the car wash
I was afraid that I may have purchased a power washer with less muscle than I needed or wanted. Boy was I wrong! This machine has all the cleaning capability that most will ever need. I fired it up yesterday for the first time, and it ran great, and functioned as well as I hoped it would. I have read the manual, I have searched the internet, and I still ( like others ) have questions about the oil level in this engine. Oh ya! real wise guys have said. "just fill it to the full mark on the dipstick DIPSTICK" but it is not that simple! The machine comes with a bag of oil that you would think matches the volume needed for the engine. Well, after putting under half of the oil in the crankcase, the dipstick indicated it was at the high limit for operation. This could not be right. so internet here I come. There I found that there is not even a general agreement on whether to check the oil with the dipstick screwed all the way in or just pushed up to the hole. The volume that the engine requires does not coincide with the bag capacity or what brings the oil to the full mark. So In between it is. I push it in to the hole without screwing it in and just fill it to somewhere in the operating range. It ran fine at this level, and did not show any indication of being overfull. All the accessories that came with the machine were of high quality. I did by the turbo nozzle that was talked so highly of by others. I hope the washer works a long time, for if it does I will be one happy customer. Oh and it has a great, low center of gravity that keeps it stable while in use. Buy it worry free! It really is a good bang for the buck.

Pump failure
I purchased a previous model of this pressure washer (580-752610) 2600 PSI. It has the Honda engine and is a Craftsman product. During the third season of use the pump housing cracked where two bolts are closely placed. These bolts covered the high pressure water path. Additionally, one bolt itself cracked - they are partially hollow. They are not brass. The pump was treated with the appropriate winterizing product from Sears both winters. I am surprised at the high cost of a replacement pump relative to the total cost of a new machine. This is the second pressure washer from Sears where I have had problems with their water pumps. The Honda engine works fine. It is easy to start.

Great power washer highly recommend

I worked 5 years at sears selling lawn and garden solutions. I know this is the best value in their portfolio. The Honda 160 engine is used on multiple applications in the craftsman line up and it is the best. This Unit makes easy work of both our boats, siding , driveway. what ever. Get this one. Cant beat it for the price. I paid 299.

Great Pressure Washer

We bought this after reading a lot of reviews. We could not be happier with our purchase! We started by pressure washing our patio in the back. We could not have asked for better results. We did it in much less time than I had imagined! Then we started on the eaves of the house. We did not have to use a ladder and had great results! We did our front steps and the front porch. We managed to get down the spider webs without ant problem. Our front steps look new.

awesome machine

This pressure is fantastic. It cut through the mildew on the concrete without any additional chemicals. I bought the concentrate cleaner could not get it to feed so there may be a problem there but it turned out that i didnt need it anyway

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Honda Powered Pressure Washer

This is a nice pressure washer with the famous Honda engine. It cleans well. I bought the extra turbine nozzle which does a great job cleaning my patio, sidewalk, deck and rugs. It starts on the first pull. The main reason I bought it compared to others is the powerful reliable Honda engine. I think it is much better than the Briggs and Stratton engines on the other pressure washers. I am a Honda guy, with Honda cars, generator and Craftsman Honda lawnmover. Never any trouble with Honda engines. The only criticism is the lack of method to store the long 25 ft hose. It does not stay coiled on the unit Also, be careful not to let the hose touch the hot buffler. I did, and it melted the outside plastic coating. No real damage because the inner stainless flex mesh is the actual hose construction. I just rapped the melted plastic area with vinyl electrical tape. This unit does the job. I think people waste their money on electric pressure washers because they just don't have the power of a gas pressure washer to do a good job.

i feel the honda engine will out last the briggs

this replaced a piece of **** electric pressure washer i had,, i couldnt decide between the one with the briggs engine and this one with the honda engine,, being a small engine mechanic and a retired automotive mechanic i know the honda engines are better so i spent the extra coin for the honda engine,,, took 15 minutes to assemble,, added oil and gas and 2nd pulled it fired right up,,, i have only run 1 tank of fuel through it but so far it is a sweet pressure washer,,, has plenty of power and runs like a champ,,, i run it today after it sitting for a week and 2nd pull it fired right up,,, i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gas powered pressure washer

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Gas Leak

Have run this unit for less than five hours. Turned the fuel on and gas pours out below the air filter. This Is too bad as I had spent a lot of time researching and settled on this Honda driven unit. Will now see how good the Sears warranty is as I will be returning the unit today.
