more cleaning power than the car wash
I was afraid that I may have purchased a power washer with less muscle than I needed or wanted. Boy was I wrong! This machine has all the cleaning capability that most will ever need. I fired it up yesterday for the first time, and it ran great, and functioned as well as I hoped it would. I have read the manual, I have searched the internet, and I still ( like others ) have questions about the oil level in this engine. Oh ya! real wise guys have said. "just fill it to the full mark on the dipstick DIPSTICK" but it is not that simple! The machine comes with a bag of oil that you would think matches the volume needed for the engine. Well, after putting under half of the oil in the crankcase, the dipstick indicated it was at the high limit for operation. This could not be right. so internet here I come. There I found that there is not even a general agreement on whether to check the oil with the dipstick screwed all the way in or just pushed up to the hole. The volume that the engine requires does not coincide with the bag capacity or what brings the oil to the full mark. So In between it is. I push it in to the hole without screwing it in and just fill it to somewhere in the operating range. It ran fine at this level, and did not show any indication of being overfull. All the accessories that came with the machine were of high quality. I did by the turbo nozzle that was talked so highly of by others. I hope the washer works a long time, for if it does I will be one happy customer. Oh and it has a great, low center of gravity that keeps it stable while in use. Buy it worry free! It really is a good bang for the buck.

      Pump failure
I purchased a previous model of this pressure washer (580-752610) 2600 PSI. It has the Honda engine and is a Craftsman product. During the third season of use the pump housing cracked where two bolts are closely placed. These bolts covered the high pressure water path. Additionally, one bolt itself cracked - they are partially hollow. They are not brass. The pump was treated with the appropriate winterizing product from Sears both winters. I am surprised at the high cost of a replacement pump relative to the total cost of a new machine. This is the second pressure washer from Sears where I have had problems with their water pumps. The Honda engine works fine. It is easy to start.

      Good motor - bad pump

The machine ran fine for two seasons, then the pump froze up... Cost of repair @ $240... Excessive for some that just bolts on. Not only that, mine was close to the two year period, no sympathy from Sears. I am buy a new one in the hopes it will last better than the first one. I will take back my old one and find a use for the good Honda motor.

      Awesome Pressure Washer

Used it straight out if the box for 5 hours runs and washes like a champ. Removed ground in mud off of walk way and did the job on the vinyl siding as well it's a keeper so far.

      Exactly what we wanted

When shopping for a power washer, we looked at electric and gas. We decided gas was better for our needs and Sears had one on sale. It works great. Not too loud. We also purchased the soap that Sears sells that fits right in the holder. It is certainly easy to use.

      Power Washer

This power washer was a replacement for another Honda powered washer and I have to say, this one is better. Maybe Honda finally got it right, but this one is easy to start, powers up easily, sprays as hard as you could possibly want and runs flawlessly.

      Great power washer highly recommend

I worked 5 years at sears selling lawn and garden solutions. I know this is the best value in their portfolio. The Honda 160 engine is used on multiple applications in the craftsman line up and it is the best. This Unit makes easy work of both our boats, siding , driveway. what ever. Get this one. Cant beat it for the price. I paid 299.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Great Pressure Washer

We bought this after reading a lot of reviews. We could not be happier with our purchase! We started by pressure washing our patio in the back. We could not have asked for better results. We did it in much less time than I had imagined! Then we started on the eaves of the house. We did not have to use a ladder and had great results! We did our front steps and the front porch. We managed to get down the spider webs without ant problem. Our front steps look new.
